This hurts 😢 My lovely father passed away this evening at 6:15pm. He battled cancer and also pulmonary fibrosis. He was 85. I was blessed to be by his side at the end. I am relieved he is now no longer suffering and at peace. RIP Dad xoxox 💔

I am so enjoying BBC2's Tina Turner evening. She is a total goddess and I was lucky enough to see her in 1996 at the old Wembley Stadium and she was electric and totally amazing. They really don't make them like they used to!

Thanks for all the advice decided to opt for the one bed garden flat. Pick up the keys 3 weeks on Thursday. Goodbye Earls Court and Hello Ealing. Might suffer a bit of cold turkey without all the constant traffic and sirens going past every 5 minutes.

1. My father is 82 years old and I didn’t want to put him at risk. I also didn’t want to put myself at risk too. Sitting beside someone in a small space for over 2 hours is taking a risk.

I used to take my energy bills for granted. I think I read that since 2022 UK prices have risen by over 80% while the rest of Europe have only risen by 4%. They are set to rise again by 5% in January. I now dread the email asking for my metre readings & fear my next bill.
