"If you don't watch it's because you're scared of what may happen. I know it's money, so Imma watch it."
DeVonta Smith on Jake Elliott's 59-yard FG attempt:
My biggest complaint about Brian Johnson is the play design. Last year Steichen created so many easy throws for Jalen and allowed him to get into a rhythm. This year it just seems like there’s nothing easy for Jalen and everything is down the field without any creativity
Prior to tonight’s game against the Cincinnati Reds, the Phillies placed first baseman Bryce Harper on the paternity list. To fill his spot on the 26-man roster, the club recalled infielder Kody Clemens from triple-A Lehigh Valley.
I know we want to clown the Diamondbacks for their cheap playoff tickets but that’s what prices should be. Sporting event tickets are ridiculously expensive
The way the fans view the 2024 Phillies will be very different.
I don’t think anyone is going to buy into dancing on my own, team overalls, silly HR celebrations, etc. anymore.
It’s just going to be different.
"I would be lying if I said it didn't feel good to play well against a team that told you that you weren't good enough to play for them. I do love those guys. I wish them the best, just a little bit less when they play the Braves."
Whit Merrifield after tonights W⤵️
He wanted to say the Phillies so badly but knew that if he did then CBP would make his life a living hell for the rest of his career so he made a smart business decision
Following a campaign stop in North Philadelphia Monday afternoon, Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance headed down to Pat’s King of Steaks for a cheesesteak.
Vance ordered a whiz wit.

Can’t believe this needs to be said but the Eagles should not trade AJ Brown under any circumstances and anyone suggesting otherwise should not have their opinion taken seriously. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Harper, Turner, and Bohm all had a hit.
Sanchez: 2 pitches, 2 outs
Strahm: 1 batter, 1 strikeout
Hoffman: 1 batter, 1 out
Ozuna: 0-for-1
Alonso: Strikes out
Rooting interests were a success
Phillies can’t beat the Rangers or Marlins and struggled against the Rockies but are going toe-to-toe with probably the best team in baseball. Makes perfect sense
The Phillies sent a car at noon for Ricardo Pinto, who was in Rochester, N.Y. with the IronPigs. He got stuck in traffic and did not arrive until the fourth inning. He said hello to Rob Thomson, then went to the bullpen. He pitched four innings for the save.
Colts are working to add veteran QB Nick Foles, sources said. Nothing done yet, but there’s a chance it comes by next week. Makes a ton of sense on both sides. He’d backup new starter Matt Ryan.
I get that the Braves are winning but the Phils have the best record in baseball and they’ve said nothing about it since the first inning. A little balance in coverage would be nice Fox
Phils went into the weekend having a 9 game lead and left with an 8 game lead. They’re getting Schwarber and Harper back this week. They have 3 of their best pitchers pitching against the Dodgers too. They’re gonna be fine. People need to relax
Bryce Harper signed here for 13 years. Joel Embiid signed two max extensions when he had every possible reason to leave and said "This is my city." Zack Wheeler, JT Realmuto, Alshon Jeffrey, Malcolm Jenkins all signed here.
At the end of the day the Eagles lost their franchise QB, top running back, 2 starting corners, starting strong safety, starting defensive end and yet they made it to the divisional round of the playoffs. They're gonna be fine.
We all said that beating St Louis was for Doc and Ryan Howard. If the Phils win it all, imagine them sending a ring to Doc’s family and saying “we finally got you a ring Doc”
Impossible not to love this Knicks team.
Five tough guys on the floor at all times hustling their asses off, Brunson making the most incredible shots, Thibs screaming from the sidelines, and an amazing MSG crowd to match the on-court energy.

April 26, 2018 the NFL Draft is in Dallas and Brian Dawkins comes up to the podium and says this, “With the 32nd pick of the NFL Draft, the Defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles proudly select...”
In response, 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey tells

: “We are not trading Ben Simmons — he is an important part of our future.”
