42 yrs of a high carb Indian diet - Rice, bread, roti, dal, papad, vada pav. Sugar cane, 3 hrs of exercise daily Vs 3 yrs of two or one meal a day on meat and eggs, no fiber, poop on point, skin 🌟 glow, weight training almost double my body weight, no meds. In short life ROCKS.

The journey from carbs and cardio to meat and weights. Running on the treadmill for hours is going to do you no good. Focus on the hormonal response of the food that you are eating you don't need a dietitian. You need a CGM to tell you how those foods are acting.

When our parents reach an age that they become like kids, it's tough for them to change their old habits. The journey was tough for my mom who has been on diabetes meds for 33 yrs now because she had no one to educate her on correct nutrition. Finally a WINNER.

People are NOT eating enough protein. I see it everywhere - the #1 problem I address with my inquiries and trainees. Low protein is a main cause of overeating everything else. It often ends up being crappy carbs + seed oils combinations. Result is metabolic disaster & diseases.

Insulin, which goes up in the blood when we eat carbohydrates, turns off fat oxidation & stimulates fat storage. When we stop eating lots of carbs, our insulin levels fall, the opposite happens- fats come out of storage & become the body's primary fuel. Dont complicate it !!!

Let your kids train as early as they can, so they can be best versions of themselves earlier than you can imagine. My daughter weight trains at 15 Eats fatty protein with two meals a day. Glad we as parents took this descion to ensure she starts early in life. Cheers Shanaya
