UN Security Council Resolution 1701 was put in place to end Israeli aggression against Lebanon in 2006. Now Israel claims they need to bomb Lebanon again to ensure full implementation. The spirit of the resolution is to ensure a ceasefire. You can't achieve that with more bombs.

@ahmmadswift @debaeser Hezbollah came into being during Israel’s occupation of South Lebanon. Claiming the South is ‘safer’ without it is illogical. It was literally borne out of Israeli occupation. Remove Hezbollah from history and Israel would still be occupying the South. Read a book.
