Photo-passes are always my little keepsake when shooting shows, and I love it when artists put time into their passes.. I have so many cool ones (big up Sabrina Carpenter, Fall Out Boy, Spiritbox). I really hope wristbands don't become the norm, especially for the big artists.

Personally I think asking to shoot artists for free is clown behaviour. If you want experience, start at the bottom like everyone else. Photograph your local shows, build a portfolio, join or make a publication. By photographing FOR artists FOR free you're damaging the industry.

Been playing around with photoshop beta for a few hours. It's decent in certain situations.. with removing mic stands you've got to do it in little chunks or it will struggle.. think this has like 5 selections. Not perfect, but better.

I know I get so many incredible opportunities as a press (unpaid) photographer, and for that I am so eternally grateful. But when it comes to being hired, I feel like I'm either overlooked or undervalued as a photographer. I don't want to moan.. but I work so hard, and I'm tired.
