As soon as Son scored on Saturday I turned to the person sitting next to me and said “that’s got to be his first right footed goal against these lot”. It was. Imagine scoring 9 goals against an opposition over 9 years and only one being with your strong foot? Ridiculous finisher.

Or whatever black people are wearing at the time. I’ve been through “no Avirex jackets”, “no Prada (this was a plain black long sleeved T btw)”, no “Airmax”… hell, last year carnival, we had “no shorts” at the sportsbar we tried to get in to watch the match. It was 30°C. 😂🙈
The man is the realist. That’s why it baffles me, the abuse he gets. It’s one thing thinking (wrongly) that he’s not good enough to play at the top level, but it’s another thing to carry on in the way some people do. He’s mandem. He’d back it all day long. Gives a shit.

No sneaky Pete, that wasn’t the question. The actual question was condescending and Ange nipped it in the bud. Notwithstanding, the only circus is journos continuously asking Tottenham managers about trophies when there’s only 6 Premier League clubs who’ve won one more recently.
Cristian Eriksen has missed 30 mins of our 2 pre season games. Played 90 this morning + 60 vs Roma. He made the KO’s in the World Cup and missed 1 PL game last season. He generally covers the most ground when he plays. I’m baffled why we’re using him so much in pre season.

Middle aged white men and women proper in their feelings because Alex Beresford is presenting this morning. FWIW Morning TV is infinitely better since Ben Shepherd took Lord Gammon’s seat. The facts.
Brighton were the worst team we played against over the last two seasons. This season, they annihilated us at the AmEx and completely outclassed the Woolwich tonight. Fair play to Graham Potter, I was bang against Hughton’s sacking, but he’s really made a difference. 👏🏿

And when these people have no way of explaining the blatant racial undertones in the media towards Meghan, towards Raheem, towards Diane etc etc etc, they claim that there’s a “race card” being played. Oh how I’d love to have the same privileges as you, Michael…

Yes, but they’ve held a line and technically done it to a T. Two Liverpool players are offside. So, what’s to criticise in that moment? You complete imbecile.

@GMB
Always trying to plug. Piers, have you seen Raheem’s post? It’s about Tosin Adarabioyo and Phil Foden, both players who’ve bought their parents houses and how they were reported in the press. Both youngsters raised in Manchester @ City’s academy. There’s only one difference.

He obviously started at a Sunday league team. As does every footballer in this country. Based on your logic, professional clubs don’t make footballers.

We knew what she’s was about for the longest. Appropriate the culture and fetishise black men, but vehemently detest black women. 🚩

Barça did bring on Messi @ 1-0 in Camp Nou when the game meant naff all to them. The fans loved it (even if worried). Pochettino is talking sense.

He'd 8 shots today. Regardless of the result/if he scored, I'm pissed if my CB allows that from the most dangerous striker in the league… 😏

I’ve been saying this. I always ask what people look for in a restaurant. If food is the primary driver, half these flower walled joints would be obsolete.
@BeardedGenius
Been a while since I did German at school, but the commentator definitely just said “this defender’s fucked when social media gets hold of this” 😂🙈

@sterling7
Because the news had broken publicly. So he nipped it in the bud quickly. Sterling apologised. We all move on. Was handled brilliantly imo.
@gazzzzz
@GaryLineker
Potentially. Or maybe, the fact that the teams are doing so well off the back of a World Cup year, means that teams/players are just shattered. Spurs yesterday? Shattered. Completely bolloxed. 3 games vs City in 3 weeks with a decimated squad. They’re doing well as it is.

Incoming: people who’ve never faced discrimination telling those who have that they’re being soft and making relations worse for those who are privileged and want the status quo to remain. 👀🥴
