I was 21 when Covid first reached Ireland. I will turn 24 in a month's time.
For many students the "best years of our lives" have been robbed from us by Covid.
Looking forward to a full reopening!
Hopefully we never experience a pandemic like this again🤞🙏

Rural Ireland: "We're hungry, cold and petrol and fuel prices keep going up, please help!"
Green Party / Eamon Ryan: "Drive slower, take shorter showers, walk to work and stop buying turf" 🙈😫
"Several arrests made" as Tony Holohan gets angry at Leaving Cert students just finished their year celebrating outside in the street.
The Garda armed support unit driving around St Stephen's Green.
This has gone way too far.
Sinn Fein are advocating a yes vote in
#Referendum2024
but they're hiding from it - Mary Lou tweeting "come out and vote" but neglecting to say what side she's on. They're so spineless.
The minutes of the last NPHET meeting this month show that the Department and HSE presented them with the findings of an opinion poll showing public appetite for more restrictions.
Surely NPHET / government should be following science as opposed to opinion polls? 🤨
Hard to understand how anyone would want to become a journalist when they see the level of abuse

An exceptional journalist - asking hard questions on Covid in nursing homes, cervical check, cancer rates, etc. A gentleman.
Department of An Taoiseach phoned me following an FOI request and encouraged me to withdraw the request. That normal?

How many emails are there? 🧐😱
@Michael_O_Regan
"I'm voting yes because I don't like Dev or McQuaid" is a fairly immature attitude to the debate! I haven't decided how I will vote, need to do a lot of research!
What do you mean by "a time", Michael?
I was 21-years-old when the first Covid case reached Ireland. Now I'm 23.
Asking me to sacrifice my social life for longer is in fact a big ask - I've obeyed all the rules since the start!
I have constructed a timeline charting the various decisions and actions taken by the Government in response to the situation in nursing homes.

This tweet isn't nice. Lots of our elderly in this country are deeply religious, deeply compassionate and loving.
Whether or not it is your cup of tea - it isn't nice to poke fun at someone who is praying for you and wishing you well.
This is the list of TDs who voted against the hate speech Bill. Sinn Fein and all parties except Aontu and People Before Profit voted for this Bill.
Michael Ring and Charlie Flanagan also voted for it.
Trying to hoodwink the electorate in an election year...

Tusla have openly admitted to us that they are placing children in "unregulated placements" consisting of rented accommodation with "staffing from third party providers".
This should be a national scandal. Coverage on RTE today:
I see The Irish Times have devoted a full page today to celebrating

Whatever side of the abortion debate we're on can we agree that abortion is not something to be celebrated?

Very inappropriate from RTE. Many people, myself included, have taken great solace in our faith during these troubling times.
An apology from the national broadcaster is well warranted! 😥🙏

Disgraceful answer from Simon Harris, when asked by
