I was 21 when Covid first reached Ireland. I will turn 24 in a month's time. For many students the "best years of our lives" have been robbed from us by Covid. Looking forward to a full reopening! Hopefully we never experience a pandemic like this again🤞🙏 #NPHET

The minutes of the last NPHET meeting this month show that the Department and HSE presented them with the findings of an opinion poll showing public appetite for more restrictions. Surely NPHET / government should be following science as opposed to opinion polls? 🤨

@senatornoone Notice how so far @RuthCoppingerTD and @bridsmithTD have given us: The name of the woman. Her address. The name of the hospital. Rough date of when abortion will take place. Far more details than @ProfRayKinsella ever gave. No uproar? #Confidentiality #abortion #Coombe

Totally understand the need for restrictions, but for the life of me I cannot understand how it is ever deemed appropriate to pause cancer screening and cancer services. These are absolutely essential services, and pausing them will cost people their lives.

The Minister for Children has deleted three of the four reports sent to him by Judge Simms in relation to concerns over children in care, citing GDPR, despite the fact that the reports were anonymised. He has confirmed this to Aontú Leader Peadar Tóibín TD.

Sometimes when I'm fighting with red tape from Dept of Health & Simon Harris, and get overwhelmed, I scroll through old texts to read the last one #EmmaMhicMhathuna sent to me: "God and love always win", and I realise that the fight for truth must go on. #RIP #CervicalCheck

Managed to stay ahead of Sinn Fein by the skin of my teeth. I expect to get 100 transfers from Fianna Fail now. Won't take a seat but very grateful for the phenomenal support I have received from the people of Tuam 🙏

Despite the government having apologised to these women, the HSE/Cervical Check maintain there was no wrongdoing. Cervical Check says that these women were just "unfortunate", that they were not "wronged". They are also critical of words like "mistake" and "misreading".

@greenparty_ie ✅ Sealing mother and baby home records. ✅ Ending eviction ban. You lot will never be on the right side of history, regardless of how many times Fox News criticise you. Your metric for measuring your morality or success in government is somewhat skewed 🥴

The Irish Times describe Ireland as "a narrow Catholic little dump". Last week my cousin, a priest, returned after treatment for cancer, to feed the people of Venezuela. Today's headline is shameful. Religious discrimination and sectarianism is still rife in this country 😓

@drg1985 An apology was warranted. Well done on having the balls to say sorry. More than can be said for Ciara Kelly. I hope Vicky Phelan is back tweeting again soon.

2/2 So basically Fine Gael expect the media to inform them in advance if there is a chance that one of their TDs is about to do something stupid? #TodaySOR #swinggate #FineGael #MariaBailey

Simon Coveney now says he would not regard Katherine Zappone as a "good friend". Ouch.
