Just had a phone call with the GP who told me to lose weight so my BMI doesn’t go into the unhealthy range. I’m 69kg, 5ft7 and I run 5 times a week…Lucky I’m not someone who would find that conversation seriously triggering. We need to stop using BMI as a measure of health.

To everyone saying “it’s finally over” - it’s not. Many companies still want masks worn, they’re still calling on kids to be vaccinated, we have to do PLFs for travel, there are still restrictions on visitors in hospitals, the list goes on…We are still a long way off ‘normal’.

Wow. 13 hours queueing today was completely worth it. Got to pay my respects to our late Queen and was there to see King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew arrive at Westminster Hall to stand vigil. A totally surreal, moving and unforgettable experience.

Took a same day PCR test today so my partner & I can fly to Dubai tomorrow. Results were due by midnight. It's nearly 1am & still no results. So stressed. We've cancelled our trip 3x already due to Covid. Honestly holidays shouldn't be a lottery like this. I want normality.

Utterly horrified reading this. Hospitals are bringing back limits on visitors. Dying patients can only have a max of 2 visitors (alternating each day) for 1-hr daily visits. And they must wear FULL PPE. This is inhumane…& all for a variant that even Prof Ferguson says is mild!
