Lone Star Armory | We manufacture weapons. Really good weapons ⋆ TX, est. 2006 | SDVO | We also sell other stuff | Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE) 85XM2
We’re seeing some confusion in a few of the DMs and comments we get. Let’s clear it up.
We’re a start-to-finish manufacturer. We do offer gunsmithing services.
We build every rifle in every picture we share.
Thanks for coming to our TED Talk.
“Dear Mom, Pop and family,
Now that I am actually here I see that the chances of my returning to all of you are quite slim, therefore I want to write this letter now while I am yet able.
”Dear Ma,
Just a few lines tonight to let you know that I'm fine and hope everybody at home is in the best of health. I just finished playing baseball and took a nice shower and now I feel very nice.
“Dearest Anne:
In a few hours I’m going to take the best company of men in the world into France. We’ll give the bastards hell. Strangely, I’m not particularly scared. But in my heart is a terrific longing to hold you in my arms. I love you Sweetheart-forever.
Your Tom”
Killed in action over Abbeville, France shortly after D-Day when his B-17 Flying Fortress was hit by anti-aircraft fire. His body was discovered a year after his bomber was lost, and reinterred at the American Cemetery in Normandy.
“My Dear Ms. O'Donnell:
It is with deep regret and a heart full of sympathy that I am attempting to answer your letter addressed to the Catholic chaplain, 6th Beach Bn, USN.
Your brother, John Thomas O'Donnell, PHM1c, USN was instantly killed by heavy caliber enemy fire …
Remember always that I love you each most fervently and I am proud of you. Consider, Mary, my wife, as having taken my place in the family circle and watch over each other.
Love to my family
Jack”
We of the United States have something to fight for - never more fully have I realised that. There just is no other country with comparable wealth, advancement or standard of living. The USA is worth a sacrifice!
2nd Lieutenant John Keith “Jack” Lundberg, navigator.
534th Bomber Squadron, 381st Bomber Group( Heavy), Eight Air Force, United States Army Air Forces.
I want you to know how much I love each of you. You mean everything to me and it is the realisation of your love that gives me the courage to continue.
Mom and Pop - we have caused you innumerable hardships and sacrifices - sacrifices which you both made readily and gladly that we might get more from life.
I am sorry to add to your grief - but at all times realise that my thoughts are of you constantly and that I feel that in some small way I am helping to bring this wasteful war to a conclusion.
If you receive this letter I shall be unable to fulfil my desires, for I have requested that this letter be forwarded only in the event I do not return.
I have always determined to show my appreciation to you by enabling you both to have more of the pleasures of life - but this war has prevented my doing so for the past three years.
We’d also like to take a quick second to remind y’all of an ongoing issue that hasn’t been resolved in 50 years this year.
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit.
Private Harry Schiraldi, medic.
116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division, United States Army.
Killed in action on Omaha beach by German machine gun fire.
It’s that time of year where we campaign for a cause that’s very near and dear to our hearts.
In 1972, four Green Berets of 5th SFG were imprisoned under false pretenses of a crime they didn’t commit. They have been fighting for exoneration for years. They deserve it.
Well Ma, thats all I got to say to-night so I'll close with my love to all and hope to hear from you very soon. Take care of yourself.
One of your loving sons,
Harry”
Hope every thing is going alright at home and don't forget if you ever need money you could cash my war bonds anything you want to. This afternoon I went to church and I received Holy Communion again today. Getting holy, ain't I?
1st Lieutenant Thomas Meehan III, company commander.
E Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne, United States Army.
Killed in action after the C-47 Skytrain he was aboard was struck by anti-aircraft fire, wiping out E Co’s entire headquarters section.
Folks, we have some terrible news for y’all.
We’d ask you to keep Brent Sibley and his loved ones in your prayers today. Brent tragically lost his life this afternoon, less than a few weeks after the fundraiser we helped throw to honor his son, Forrest, and his legacy …
Oh, you support the troops but you don’t know who this brave fighter pilot is?
Yeah, so much for that support. Hand in your punisher skull hat and your paracord bracelet.
Seriously, the whole anti-Glock thing is such a weird hill to die on.
They’re loved for their simplicity, fielded widely for their reliability and parts availability, and they’re cost effective.
Everyone from Tier 1 units to match shooters run them as a preference.

O'Donnell served with me for nine months. He was a fine lad, a good sailorman and, above all, a good American who wasn't afraid to die that his country might live.
… while approaching the French coast on "D" Day, June 6, 1944. His body was returned to England for burial. As yet, I do not know the exact location. His personal effects will, of course, be returned to his family …
Would you buy a rifle with an accessories package that we preselect for y’all, if that was an option?
Rifle
Light + pressure pad/switch
Furniture
Sling
Red dot + mount
Etc.
These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.
They have yet to be exonerated, 50 years later. Something must be done to clear their names.
We have teamed up with
@HardPass4
to turn his Traeger into a submersible.
The wheels will enable us to drive the submarine on the floor. The bucket can be used for releasing waste. Controls will be WiFi-enabled for a seamless operational experience.
MILES here… so a little story for y’all from yesterday night. Had a very close friend in town for the weekend, and after we spent a few hours running drills and stress shoots, we figured we’d get drinks and have fun.
We had just gotten done with one pub and called a Lyft…
We saw something incredibly stupid online yesterday that we felt the need to address.
Lone Star Armory, Lone Star Approach, and all of the other crazy and cool things we get up to would absolutely NOT be a reality without our loved ones and their support.
Every red-blooded man has dreamed of recommissioning an Iowa class battleship and refitting it for combat duty AT LEAST once in his life.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is a filthy liar.
As a brown man, I’ve come to realize and accept that mustache season offers me only two real looks:
1. Ramathorn from Super Troopers
2. Saddam Hussein

Last night, we toasted to Barsat and to all those terps who selflessly gave of themselves to serve our coalitions’ missions across the country, putting themselves at immense risk but doing it anyways. A lot of them never made it out and deserved better than what they got.
Did you know the National Firearms Act enables the ownership of machine guns and whatnot? Getting that Act removed would be a huge blow to the firearms community, just saying.
You should NOT be able to walk into a gun store, and walk out with a gun, like you’re buying groceries. This concept and way of thinking is tiring. We all know better but the folks in power aren’t doing anything about it. Why??
