Alright, everyone is asleep so I can post my really controversial opinion: for 75-90% of people, the 2 Game Format is so fitting for the DLC. Seeing the floor still filled with people playing as hard as they can ten hours into a tournament was so encouraging and exciting.

My poor future opponents when I hit them with “Here is my sticker! I have a YouTube channel - make sure to follow me! No, I mean right now. I can wait. Please.” But I am almost to 100 YouTube subscribers and 400 twitter followers - I believe in the power of stickers 🙌🏻

Hot take of the day: It is fun to joke about hating meta decks online or amongst friends. However, people generally want to win and base their deck on statistical and proven advantages. On tournament day, remember that you don’t need to snark to your opponent about their deck.

Yesterday, I was feeling fiscally responsible and did not try to get Vegas tickets. Today I am back to working and feel the need to spend money to feel alive and I’m very sad that I did not try. It was just so fun hanging out with cool people in a big room doing fun things.

As we approach the new set release, I want to pace out opening my booster boxes more evenly since last time I opened all my boxes on release day and then had pack opening withdrawal the next 3 months. What is your new release booster box strategy? How may boxes do you aim for?

I had to do a “Get to Know Me” with my new team and was asked about my hobbies and the interviewer said “oh Lorcana? My sons play that and it’s crazy hearing two 20 year olds talking about Disney characters.” To which I said “Well you’re about to hear a 35 year old do it 🤷🏻‍♀️”
