I once worked in a petrol/gas station when I was 18. I was shocked when I found out they sold porn magazines. As a Muslim, I felt so uncomfortable working in that environment that I left ASAP. Don't compromise your deen for anything.

@xavierjp__ This one hit me deep akh. My mum is a convert from Hinduism. Half of my family from Mauritius are also Hindu. Yes they are Hindu but they are still part of our families. As Muslims our akhlaq will speak louder than our words to them.

Sheikh says tarbiyah doesn’t start after the child is born. Tarbiyah starts the day you choose the father or mother of your child. That sets the very foundation of the tarbiyah of your family. If that foundation is shaky, then you cannot build much above it. Hence its importance
