The music industry needs to start protecting its stars and future rising stars too. Drug addiction and alcohol abuse is endemic. Imagine if we had more access to mental health support services in this industry?! The lives that wouldn’t be lost and the healing that is so badly

A note to everyone who works in radio. What covid has done to our beloved artists and musicians is devastating. With that in mind PLEASE PLAY DOMESTIC ARTISTS -all of them not just the white male ones! Royalties is one of the major forms of revenue when artists/bands can’t gig👍🏻
Imagine for a moment women & young girls going around attacking boys & men. Kicking them in the head & spitting on them in broad daylight. Attempting to murder them. Throwing them, with a kick, under a train. Now open your eyes & see it from the perspective of a woman.

Unbelievable - how is the woman who fell ? Goddess love her. She must have sustained serious injuries and imagine it the train just started? She’d be dead. This is surely some kind of attempted murder?
Sending prayers to Sinead O’Connor, Donal & the entire family on the tragic loss of their son Shane. Ireland must do better to safeguard children who are suicidal & equip them with proper treatment & support. Devastated for them. RIP.

89% of talk show (regional) radio in the last number of years is made up of middle~aged white men talking about politics/culture. 85% of Irish music playlists is made up of white male artists. It’s time for change across ALL Irish radio stations. Women & people of colour exist.
Just to be absolutely transparent : not 1 radio station in the entire report has openly or publically responded to the findings in the

Apparently Ireland in general is 83% more expensive. I’m living in Lisbon. Monthly rent for room with office is €380 a month (all bills included). To eat out on average is under €10 including wine. A cab most places anywhere in the city is between €2-5 - outer city max €10
What a day! I've literally spent today chatting to some of my idols. Life long dreams came through today. Such exciting times to come for women in Ireland who are creating music. After more than a decade of being rejected & told no, I genuinely feel the tides are turning 🌊🌊🌊
