Figureheads are tools used for scapegoating. Do you truly believe any of the people you just listed had "100% executive control" over anything?
@OwenBenjamin
The only reason they cost that much is because the public programs exist to begin with. You already know they're prone to thievery, why would you expect them not to participate in a government-sanctioned, legal thievery program? Come on, buddy.
@OwenBenjamin
You've described lay behavior in any speculative market bubble. I agree that lay speculation is gambling, and the way bitcoin is marketed is dishonest and/or ignorant of fundamental economic principles - like any other financial product. But who is "the house" in relation to BTC?
@Ace_Archist
Real libertarians are hard to come by. The ability to resist interfering with an individual's free will is legendary. God himself doesn't dare trespass against free will. Maybe that's the real message. Let them cook, no matter the quality of their decisions.
@LibertyLockPod
Something is not adding up. Everything is too plainly obvious. The cyberattack narrative and Israel/US bungling of geopolitics... It's either misdirection or I'm vastly underestimating the intelligence of the intelligence community. How many layers of deception are we on?

To scorn children and test their man's frame. If the woman who loves you can shake your frame, you stand no chance against a disinterested man who considers you his enemy.
@KeithWoodsYT
Not sure that was her intended message. Pretty sure it's the 'chickens for kfc' meme with extra steps. Definitely off-brand and sends a mixed signal.

That is what the government sanctioned cartel of experts told us to believe. Even if that were true - how much of the viral load was lowered? And was it worth eviscerating public trust and societal cohesion on a generational scale? Not to mention the human rights violations.
@carynannharlos
You're right. It's everyone's right to vote we want to abolish. I know that sounds jarring to the uninitiated but it's true and I'm feeling fashionably hoppy after watching Barbie a couple days ago.

As an option maybe - but this seems overly barbaric to me. I prefer the thieves be forced to pay restitution, often times resulting in indentured servitude until their debt is paid off. Prisons are the worst and least productive option, and they're outlawed on any property I own.
@pmarca
Ayn Rand's heroes are idealized (fake in the best way possible). But totally agree, her depictions of mundane villains are incredibly true to life. She explains her approach to art and aesthetics in `The Romantic Manifesto` - an insanely good read.

as he ponders the strategic value of abandoning principles on the basis of which side of an imaginary line a person was born on.
I want this. America needs to become decentralized. Patchwork seems like an extremely beautiful idea. I like the idea of interdependent communities governing themselves.
“Once you grant an institution the right to determine unilaterally how much you have to pay to be protected, this institution will have the tendency, by virtue of its self interest, to increase expenditures on protection while reducing the actual production of protection.” —Hoppe
AI legal assistance will change the game, if it hasn't already. Pull your lawyer out of your pocket at a traffic stop or a questionable meeting with HR. Accelerate.

Some behavior should be stigmatized, but cannot be on the basis of libertarian ethics. Libertarianism/anarchy is not a complete system of morality. Ostracism and physical removal are fundamental building blocks of any practicable libertarian community.
