@looks_last My barker is deaf so really no point in yelling at her. Assume people wonder why I don’t tell her to be quiet while we’re walking. She’s excited and she can’t hear me - or herself.

Right after I got Beth she had surgery for a mammary tumor. This picture is from the day we got biopsy results - benign. What a beautiful word.

@average_mammal Agreed to take this 3 yr old who turned out to be sick - they moved her to foster & called weekly to tell me she was still alive but did I want to pick out a different cat instead. Wasn’t sure I wanted her & figured it would be a sign if she made it. She’s 13 now.

Labs showed no infection. Vet said she checked it twice. She’ll likely show positive for a few years but unless she shows symptoms in the future - which she isn’t now - no need to do anything.

Beth’s test results came back clear! I suppose it’s natural to worry the most about the most vulnerable ones. I love my vet for being so patient and understanding with us and for always being there for us. Lucky for them I don’t worry nearly as much about the other 4!
