Year 9 spent Focus Day conducting a geographical investigation London. Students visited three contrasting development sites in Poplar, Canary Wharf and Greenwich Millennium Village to assess their sustainability. They also had the opportunity to practice their map reading skills.

Physics team to enhance our A-Level practicals - in this case using iPad to film the 'levitating water', streaming to AppleTV for students to more ably graph the results of this experiment.
We were pleased to welcome Matt Dickinson, author, photographer and climber to LGS on Tuesday. He regaled Ys7-9 with stories of frostbite and popping candy bars, gave tips on setting (and achieving!) goals as well as discuss how tourism in Nepal can be a mixed blessing.
