@XenoPanther This is pretty standard. Browsers use HTTP by default if you just type the hostname in *if* you’ve never gone to the page before (I think), then redirects to HTTPS, and then there’s www to non-www if someone types . 4 redirects is worst case scenario.

This is why I say the bot protection industry is a clownery. Most people/companies don't know what they're doing and it's all marketing. Generating a simple math expression and checking if the process object exists isn't "promising".

@KickStreaming Kick wasn't using any bot protection up until a few months ago, and even now it's just Cloudflare which is half-decent at most. A lot of these accounts are probably bots, so this easily isn't comparable to other platforms with decent/good bot protection.

@phineyes This is completely out of the gate wrong. Many cloud services — take AWS Cognito for instance — provide a wide array of functionality with minimal setup and almost no code that are secure, trusted and have been thoroughly tested. Making your own is typically a waste of time.

@phineyes Sure, email + password is easy. You can code it in a day or less but you need to setup & pay for infrastructure. Managed services are typically a lot cheaper. Then add password reset, MFA, OAuth if you want login with Google etc…as well as thorough testing for vulnerabilities.

During @CrimsonBots ’s beta, users will be able to schedule it to run on drops, even if your PC or Mac is turned off during the drop. It’ll notify you of the results after the drop on your phone. You shouldn’t have to wake up at 6-7am just to buy sneakers.
