Litecoin was created by changing Bitcoin’s hash algo from SHA256 to Scrypt. That took Charlie Lee an hour. LCC changes it back to SHA256 and that’s worth $6B. Only in crypto. 😂

I invested in Ethereum ICO in 2014, and there was no smart contracts, DeFi, etc. either. There was not even a functioning blockchain and there would be not one for a year later. All we got was a text file of our private keys and a promise. If Cardano’s a scam, so is Ethereum.

The high on BTC was $20K, let’s call the low $3200. That’s an 84% decline. Look at the statistics: Since 2010, what happens after 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after Bitcoin fell 84% from its all time high? If you’re ever going to buy, historically it seems now would be the time.

Talk of how there won’t be another 80%+ multi year bear market is nonsense. We’re coming out of a 55%+ ($62K—><$30K) drawdown in a BULL market. If we can correct >50% in a bull market, it tells me 85%+ declines will still happen when the bear market arrives.

If we call BTC ~$20K the top, an 85% drawdown brings us back to $3K. That’s 60% lower from here. I do believe we can go there or lower, but I don’t think we stay there for long. We prolly settle around $5K to build a base for the launch to $50K-$100K in 2020 and beyond...

Bitcoins’s split into Core and Cash is what has lead to the collapse of Bitcoin’s dominance. It’s not new coins, or ICO’s. Lightning network won’t save it. The most valuable aspect of any coin is its community; not its tech; and Bitcoin’s community is permanently fractured.

Bitcoin's halving last year was 8 weeks earlier than in 2016 (May 14th vs July 9th). The first DOGE pump in 2017 topped in June. This pump is also ~8 weeks earlier than '17. It's seems we're replaying 2017, ~8 weeks earlier. Some coins are new, but others, like DOGE, the same.

I don't think there was anything comparable in 2017 with the -55% drop to $30K. We have to go back to the 81% drop in April 2013. We did not recover to those prices for 7 months till November. I believe we're going to see a V recover similar to March 2020.

1/Now at -25% and day 9 from the $64K+ top. This correction could run a few more weeks and another -15% like we had in 2017, especially as details of the Biden tax hike come out. It could put us under $40K as the final capitulation. Note, this is a scenario, not a prediction.

My thesis at the beginning of 2019 was it was going to be like 2015. Bitcoin was up 34% in 2015, while we're up 77% YTD. The difference is we had far more volatility this year than 2015. 2020 should be a solid year 2016 from the halving, but the next moon Lambo is 2021/22. 🚀🏎

Bought BTC here at $7577. For 2020, I think it'll be a Bitcoin and big cap rally, at least in the beginning. Sure, they'll be exceptions like Tezos, but the rally I'm expecting will be liquidity driven, money looking for exposure to crypto at the lowest possible cost.

Yesterday, I sold all my ETC in my Roth IRA for ETH at a loss. The reason is Kingdom Trust will no longer custody it because of the 51% attacks. Ultimately, whether a coin goes up is if the community grows. Indications are the ETC community is shrinking, while ETH is growing.

Moving my fiat USD's into the exchanges and I'll be buying every sell off from here. I'm feeling pretty confident the bottom is behind us. But bottom behind us doesn't mean the bull market begins. Most likely range bound trading like we've had for the past 6 months.

We could fall to BTC $2K and spend a year between $2K-$3K, much like 2015 was a trading range in the $200’s. This could be good for the long run, setting up a base for the run to $100K+.

Here’s why I have flipped from neutral to bullish in my market view. Our view has been bearish last year because the Fed had made it clear they were going to raise interest rates to fight inflation. The market was going to keep going down until rate hikes were fully priced in.
