I’ve now realised that all my previous Year 9 classes have been lying to me. Helping my daughter in Year 7 with her maths has meant that I’ve seen they learn about averages, lines of best fit, using a protractor etc. Somehow this knowledge escapes then in Science!

I think I did it - after a lot of trail and error... GCSE Required Practical with a ripple tank where students can measure the frequency and wavelength to calculate the wave speed (rather than using time and distance).
