German 5th division side TV Jahn Hiesfeld told their manager, with one game of the season left, he wouldn't be in charge next season. As a protest he wore full fishing gear, complete with fishing rod, for his last game in charge.

Fortuna Düsseldorf Ultras have created these beautiful replica tickets. The tickets are part of a campaign to keep paper tickets. The small print talks about how physical tickets remind fans of countless away trips across Germany watching Fortuna.

If you're near Essen I really recommend this exhibition of football posters. They're all from the 80's and 90's and all beautiful. The exhibition is at the Museum Folkwang and it's free entry.

Had a wander round the Stadio Donato Vestuti in Salerno today. It was the home of Salernitana from 1931 to 1990 and hosted Serie A football in 1947/8.

Fortuna Düsseldorf have released a new shirt to support the waiters who deliver beer in the town's pubs. 🍻🍻 The shirt is designed to look like the traditional shirts worn by the waiters and includes a €5 beer voucher.

Stadion am Zoo Wuppertal is well worth a visit. If arriving wasn't enough once inside there's huge terraces, overgrown steps, wonky lines of seats and a massive scoreboard.

Spotting a football stadium whilst on holiday is always a delight. I couldn't find a way in at the Stadion Letzigrund, home of FC Zürich and Grasshoppers, but enjoyed the view from outside.

Fortuna Düsseldorf Ultras are protesting today against a proposed new law which could make fan marches to games illegal. Around 10,000 people are expected to join the protest including ultras from FC Köln.

An important win for @f95 today. Tribute was paid to former team manager, Aleks Spengler who recently passed away. The club organised 30,000 flags and a banner with a quote from Aleks: "When the whole stadium stands up with red and white flags, it brings tears to my eyes"

I took a wander round the abandoned Stadio Flaminio in Rome yesterday. The stadium was built for the Olympic Games in 1960 and has been abandoned since 2011. Rome and Lazio played here in 1989/90 when the Stadio Olimpico was renovated.

Fortuna Düsseldorf fans are meeting on the banks of the Rhine and cycling to today's home game against Magdeburg. 160 Ipswich Town fans are also expected at the game as the clubs have a fan friendship.
