I really like the composition of this single frame for neuvifuri. Neuvillette's office is arranged symmetrically for the most part - symmetry is even a big part of his design. So of course the symmetry line of the room ultimately divides them, acting like an invisible wall.

Furina’s fins match the tail fins of the Singer of Many Waters. Funnily enough, Neuvillette’s hair is somewhat shaped similarly, with smaller “fins” protruding outwards while the longer ones are knotted down.

According to the same video, Furina also has some elements in her design that allude to the Little Mermaid. First, Furina’s coattail includes a fish scale pattern and a section of her backsides have a subtle fish scale pattern passed off as a checkerboard pattern.
