I’ll be honest there was no celebration in our selection show watch party. To be 29-1, have won our regional tournament and be rewarded with a 14 seed and play in game doesn’t make sense. Oh well - fuel to the fire. Time to go earn some national respect 😤

People often underestimate the level of play in Juco. In preseason we played a very good NAIA varsity team (who’s currently 14-6) and lost by 9. There are good players and teams at every level of college basketball

As a basketball culture we’re a little too worried about winning at a young age, and need to focus on increasing players desire to play the game & improving as a player. You could be winning middle school championships and not getting any better, or burning kids out early.

Something I started doing this year - every competitive drill must be sealed with a free throw. Whoever makes a play at the end of drill(on winning team) shoots a free throw to seal it. If they miss game is tied and we resume. Good pressure free throw reps, & models FTs win games
