inspired by
@karpathy
's micrograd repository, i created a small application that lets you train a neural network in your browser and view the results at every step.

made a small chrome extension to classify tweets as you scroll through your feed ⚡️
- uses
@GroqInc
llama3.1-8b for instant inference
- blurs content so you focus on what you want
- saves tweets to database for future usage (analytics, curated datasets, evals, etc.)
2022 was weird.
Honestly, it was the worst year of my life (yet). I went from being on top of the world to literal rock-bottom.
But I'm still here, still breathing, still kicking. This was a year that taught me a lot about life, relationships, and people.
Have the $2700 T side rifle on Mirage? Here's where the pro players use it the best! 👇

thanks boys
@dhaiwat10
@nazeeh21
for helping with the frontend ❤
Heroic (
@heroicgg
) and OG (
@OGcsgo
) topped their respective groups in EPL S14.
But their performances weren't exactly similar. Heroic had 1 player shine brighter than the rest, while OG played a more team-centric game, as signaled by the ADR distribution. 1/2
fun weekend in Toronto
- won TMLS hackathon with my team, huge thanks to
@LightningAI
@AIMakerspace
and
@TMLS_TO
for organising
- had mad tacos at Gus Tacos on Salem Ave
- checked out
@Shopify
builder sundays and demo’d smth on the spot (thx
@agarcher
)
@Centayy
@pedrxla_
@RyanAtRBM
Basically they reduced the deathcam by 1 second, so opponents can now fake going a certain direction and the player who just got killed might give wrong info to their team.
❤️Like/RT if you found this informative - more to come!
Thanks to HLTV for the demo, xeno for the awesome parser and SimpleRadar for the super clean radar. (5/5)
august was productive
- worked out 27/31 days of the week
- cleared 4 interviews -> 4 roles terminated hiring process early :)
- met new people, explored the city
🚀
Taking advantage of the new ability to drop grenades,
@OGcsgo
players armed Aleksi with an arsenal of HE, most of which he decided to unload either towards lower tunnels or towards ramp, making
@sproutGG
players easy pickings for the rest of the team. (2/5)

Overall, OG's utility trajectories on each half looked like this, with
@Officialvalde
locking down the B site.

This is the new India. One that worries about "global acceptability" while being impervious to the voices inside the nation.
A hollow country is what it has become.
"exams... reflection of performance... necessary for global acceptability"
Probably why Harvard, Columbia et al made SATs optional. IITs cancelled end-term exams across the board.
Harass students while worrying about global acceptability today. Cry about brain drain tomorrow.
Over the last week, I started studying Stanford's CS229 course on Machine Learning as I really wanted to understand it from the ground up.
My notes are on GitHub here:
In this thread, I want to keep a running list of my summaries of each lecture.
Looking at the grenade distribution, it's fairly evident
that OG had their utility game on point, with
@OfficialnikoCS
providing the smokes, and Aleksi and
@flameZcsgo
dealing the pain. (3/5)

this happened to me once, turned out I had node_modules in one of my directories and indexing it took upwards of 20 minutes whenever I opened Obsidian.
Just completed a plethora of projects on

spanning topics on Ethereum, Solidity, Solana, Rust, NFT,

Super excited to keep learning and building more 🚀
@hawka_cs
Summary:
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because hawka_cs was already dead.
Can somebody please explain to me:
a) What do "digital assets" exactly mean (as per FM/GoI)
b) If they do mean NFTs, how is that feasible under the anonymity/decentralization premise?
Actual questions - looking to learn
Of all the stuff I’ve read online, I think “spend as much time with your loved ones” is the most important. You never know when you’ll never get to talk to them again.
grateful everyday
I realise that intent does not matter, only consequences do, and I am prepared to suffer through my guilt for as long as it takes.
Looking back, there are certain actions that I will forever regret taking.
But I'm determined to be better. Here's hoping 2023 helps.
I felt sad, miserable, lonely, guilty, suicidal, hopeful, grateful, and much more. This was a year I felt more than I have ever felt.
But I never truly felt happy. I made a grave mistake, and to the people affected, I truly am sorry.
While learning about LLMs and the entire lifecycle, I wanted to do some evaluations myself to understand the concepts better and get a hands-on experience.

learned so much about multimodal basics from trying to implement this in PyTorch
> building the data pipeline is challenging
> choice of encoder feature extractor matters
> W&B experiment tracking is pretty good - much easier to setup, but not as satisfying as logging locally
A fair rebuttal to the imbalanced editorial in The Lancet titled ‘India’s Covid19 emergency’ published on May 8th.
While the Covid crisis did assume alarming proportions in India, it was indeed important to remain politically unbiased for a reputed journal
I explored
@LangChainAI
v0.2 this week and wrote a little about:
- Why we need orchestration frameworks
- What is LangChain made up of
- What are the methods of LangChain
created another interactive playground, this time for the MLP repository by

There were good days, but mostly it was filled with bad days and inhumanely worse days.
I lost close friends (cut off), met a WHOLE bunch of unknown people and made new friends. I lost a lot of good habits and picked up a host of bad ones.
After completing the Solana courses on
@_buildspace
, I was really interested in learning more about Rust (
@rustlang
).
Over the past couple weeks, I went through the introductory book (great resource!) and jotted down my notes here 📔:
@drob
You could probably fine-tune a model on your writing (although you will have to format it as prompt/completion). Don’t know if there’s a product specifically for this, but would be fun to experiment!
@NER0cs
How’d you make this so smooth? I remember toying with this idea about a year and half back, but could never figure out the proper interpolation. Looks clean!
quick prototype of video to recipe extraction.
lots of work to be done, but mainly on:
- adding streaming
- improving the UI
- adding agentic capability (?) (auto-search and extract to fulfil user query)
@virattt
I want something like this but instead of making the video it can take a YT video and generate the recipe used (most videos don’t have it)
Same goes for shorts!
Ideally I just take a photo of my fridge and it figures it out for me what to do

> beaver lake sunset
> noob dart games
> trying out the Apple Vision Pro (this device is insane, can’t wait for cost to come down to consumer levels)
