I have Namjoon’s little fish windchime hanging in my house and I ring it every single day like a lovelorn maiden trying to call her forest spirit boyfriend back from the deep dark woods or something and tbh I don’t think that’s what he had in mind when he designed it but TOO BAD.
Sometimes, I’m like, “do I write Yoongi as too much of an in-love, whipped motherfucker?” And then I just observe him in real life with any member ever for 2 seconds and realize…no, I nailed it.
A/B/O thoughts, going out of your way edition:
When Namjoon gets home, well after dark, the apartment is empty. He toes his shoes off in the entryway and goes looking room to room, but the pack’s scent is stale, old. No one’s been here since they all left in the morning.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, radio show edition:
“He’s…joking,” Yoongi says. “He has to be joking.”
“I don’t think he is,” Hoseok says. “That’s his genuinely confused face.”
“Oh my god,” Yoongi says. “How does he not know it’s Jungkook?"
“He’s nervous,” Jimin says. “Be nice to him.”
A/B/O thoughts, milestones edition:
“Don’t look at me,” Yoongi says.
“It’s cute, though,” Jimin says. “You look cute!”
Namjoon clears his throat.
“I mean,” Jimin says. “You look very handsome and cool.”
“This is part of the process,” Jin says. “They’ll grow back.”
Little A/B/O thoughts, science edition:
Jimin slips into Yoongi’s room first thing in the morning.
“Hyung,” Jimin says. “I have a question.”
“I’m busy,” Yoongi says. “Can it wait?”
“No,” Jimin says. “It’s a sexy question.”
Yoongi swivels around in his chair, very quickly.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, selfie edition 🔞:
Namjoon posts the photo, and then sinks up to his shoulders in the bathtub to wait.
His phone rings within a minute.
“What are you doing,” Taehyung says.
“Hmm?” Namjoon says. He tries his best to keep the grin out of his voice.
A/B/O thoughts, trend edition:
Jungkook’s the one to rope Jin into the whole thing.
“Everyone’s doing it,” Jungkook says. “Packs all over the world! You should do it with ours.”
“Why?” Jin says. “I already know they’ll all peel the orange.”
🔞A/B/O thoughts, forbidden fruit edition 🔞:
It really, truly, is an accident.
Taehyung just means to ask Namjoon a question about next week’s schedules. It’s only the two of them at home, so quiet. He doesn’t think twice about going into Namjoon’s room without knocking.
A/B/O thoughts, backup edition:
The text comes through just as Jin’s finally settling down on the couch to play some nice, relaxing video games, because of course it does.
“Help,” it says. “Namjoon-hyung’s room.”
It’s from Jungkook.
So Jin sighs, and goes.
Little A/B/O thoughts, what’s mine is yours edition:
Really, three alphas in a single pack shouldn’t work.
There are a lot of people who don’t want it to work. For the first few years after debut, Yoongi can’t go anywhere online without seeing stupid headlines about it.
A/B/O thoughts 🔞, caught in the act edition:
When Namjoon finally takes off his headphones and emerges from his room, the first thing he hears is laughter. The wild kind, the uncontrollable kind, the kind that fills the house.
He follows the sound of Hoseok's clapping.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, Live edition:
The notification wakes Hoseok up. He reaches for his phone, blinks blearily at it, and then nudges Yoongi awake.
“Jungkook went live,” he says.
“Mm?” Yoongi says. Hoseok loves him when he’s sleepy. His face gets puffy, rounder. Cute.
A/B/O thoughts, soft and tender edition:
Jin doesn’t mean to see it. He’s not a voyeur, by nature, but when he gets up for a glass of water at two in the morning, he can hear what sounds like Jungkook crying. Heaving, choking gasps that make Jin’s heart race.
Little A/B/O thoughts, finding true family edition:
Jin's father drags him to the family doctor, the day he begins to present.
"It's a mistake," he says, and Jin remembers the tone of his father's voice, forever. How it had burned him to the bone. "No son of mine is a beta."
A/B/O thoughts, together forever edition:
When management calls them all together unexpectedly, late at night, and there are no props or extra cameras or prizes or anything else for a surprise filming, Jin knows it’s something serious.
“Namjoon can’t go,” their manager says.
A/B/O thoughts, Namkook breeding-kink edition: Namjoon hits 22 and has his first rut, a week-long, hormone-fueled nightmare, and he grows out of his gangly, alpha-adolescent body seemingly overnight. He's full-grown, a pack alpha, and he gets...big.
Jungkook feels crazy.
🔞 A/B/O thoughts, late night rehearsal edition 🔞:
Namjoon lies to himself, sometimes. It helps him get through the day. This choreography isn’t hard, he thinks. I’m not tired. I don’t mind press junkets, they’re fun. Little lies that don’t hurt anyone, that are never spoken.
A/B/O fluff stuff: Jungkook just does it to be funny, the first time. He's in a nest with Tae (they've built a really nice one in the living room), and he's happy happy happy, and Tae elbows him in the ribs, and so he plays mad, snaps his teeth, like the alphas in the pack do.
A/B/O AU thoughts, everyone-loves-Yoongi edition:
Yoongi puts off the surgery for years. He can bear the pain in his shoulder, and he thinks that someday there'll be a good time, a break.
There never is, their schedules never-ending, and eventually, Jin puts his foot down.
A/B/O thoughts, introvert edition:
When Jungkook arrives at the party, he looks for His Corner, first thing.
He always picks a corner, in a place like this—a room full of flashing lights and thundering music and the scents of strangers, sweat and beer and perfume.
A/B/O thoughts, anniversary edition:
Jimin wakes up to something heavy thumping down on his chest. He doesn’t have to open his eyes to know it’s Namjoon’s arm. He knows the way Namjoon breathes, the way he sleeps, tucking whoever’s within reach into the safety of his side.
A/B/O thoughts, patience edition:
Taehyung's mother had made the sound for as long as he could remember. He'd used to sit on her lap and put his little hand to her throat and feel the vibration of her humming.
"An omega sound," she'd told him. "You'll learn how, someday."
A/B/O thoughts, Yoonkook edition: It starts when Jungkook slips into Yoongi's room and locks the door behind him. Yoongi takes his headphones off, because none of them lock doors in the apartment unless it's something serious, one of the rare conversations that requires privacy.
A/B/O AU thoughts, soft pre-debut edition:
When Jungkook first comes to join them in the dorms, it's like living with a ghost. He slips in and out of rooms as quietly as he can, waits until the middle of the night to shower. He stays out of the way.
Jin hates it.
(It’s not the orange dragon. It’s a small, pink puffball that Jin immediately steals and tucks into his pocket.
Namjoon does find his dragon, later, in the seventh package he opens. His packmates cheer.
“Our lucky number,” Taehyung says.
“Yeah,” Namjoon says. “So lucky.”)
Itty bitty A/B/O thoughts, “this one’s mine” edition:
Hoseok tries to make sense of what the omegas are doing, at first. He assumes there must be a pattern to it, something he can understand, but he can’t nail anything down.
Sometimes, the omegas just…pick someone.
Little A/B/O thoughts, merch edition:
When Namjoon comes home, the scent filling the apartment makes the hair on the back of his neck stand up. It smells…off, something he thinks he knows, but can’t quite place.
He drops his things at the door and follows it into the kitchen.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, just the two of us edition:
“Nervous?” Taehyung says. He doesn’t need to ask. Jungkook’s scent already tells him so. But if he doesn’t ask, Jungkook will never say a word about it, will keep small and quiet and to himself the whole night, so Taehyung does.
A/B/O thoughts, daredevil edition:
Hoseok realizes that Jungkook might be...a problem while they're still just trainees, when they all save up and go to Lotte World on their (only) day off.
Jungkook goes straight for the tallest, most terrifying ride Hoseok's ever seen.
Itty bitty A/B/O thoughts, trust in all its forms edition:
The choreography is risky. Risky in ways that make Jimin's heart pound. He knows he can make the jump. He's not afraid of that.
It's what the jump represents, how people will interpret it, that worries him.
A/B/O thoughts, apple and tree edition:
Yoongi’s mother disappears for the first time when he’s 5 years old. When he asks where she is, his father’s frown lines sink deep into his cheeks.
“Sometimes,” he says. “Your mother just can’t be anything for anyone. But she loves you.”
Itty-bitty A/B/O thoughts, OT7 slice of life edition:
Namjoon sleeps until noon, their first day at the hotel. He opens his eyes and stretches and doesn't get out of bed. He doesn't have to, and it's glorious.
"Everyone's at the beach already," Yoongi says.
A/B/O thoughts, late night visitor edition:
Jimin always stays up late, traveling. It's hard to sleep in hotels. Nothing smells right. The beds are always too hard. The room feels empty, quiet in a way that Jimin's not used to.
He knows, though, that it won't stay that way.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, zombies edition:
The thing is, Namjoon really can't help it.
"Please stay in your own groups," the director calls, again. "Please."
Namjoon tries. But it's not his fault. Hobi's screaming bloody murder. He has to...just take a look. In case.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, 🎁 edition:
It isn’t that Yoongi doesn’t like receiving gifts. He does. It’s what comes after that always makes him feel awkward, the moment where he unwraps a new pair of shoes or a nice microphone and then someone’s just…staring at him, expectantly.
A/B/O thoughts, standing your ground edition:
After the meeting, Namjoon can’t look at anyone. He picks a place on the wall and lets his eyes fix there, so he isn’t distracted, so he can think. He has to think.
“They can’t make us move out,” Hoseok says. “They can’t mean it.”
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, sneaky edition:
The thing is, Jimin could kiss Yoongi anywhere.
Yoongi wouldn’t stop him. Yoongi never does, not even in the car between schedules or in the bathroom of an award show venue.
Jimin could kiss Yoongi anywhere. But he likes doing it here.
A/B/O thoughts, bloodline edition:
In the days after Taehyung is born, his mother sits with him in a chair beside the window, lets the sun spill across them both. She can feel his little heart beat where he lays across her chest, and it makes her feel old in a way she loves.
Little A/B/O thoughts, Taekook edition:
Sometimes, Taehyung wakes up in the morning and knows that it's going to be one of those days. He feels it, like an itch in a place he can't reach, a chill he can't quite shiver away.
He gets up, and goes to find Jungkook.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, the light of my life edition:
When Hoseok turns the corner, and there Jimin is, standing in the hotel lobby with a duffel bag slung over his shoulder and a bucket hat pulled low over his eyes, Hoseok trips over his own sandals.
A/B/O thoughts, Christmas edition:
Jimin waits for the perfect moment to bring it up. It’s a little sneaky, but he knows he has to, or Namjoon will never agree. The pack’s entrusted this part of the plan to him. It’s serious.
So he asks when Namjoon is balls-deep in Jungkook.
A/B/O thoughts, 11 years edition:
Namjoon decides he's not going to ask. If he asks, there's a chance Yoongi might say no.
So instead, he shows up unannounced to Yoongi's studio (an ambush) and says, "I need you to go to dinner with me on Saturday."
Yoongi shrugs.
Small A/B/O thoughts, bedtime edition:
In the home Namjoon had grown up in, his room had been at the very end of the hallway. It was small. Enough room for him and his things, but not for anyone else. His sister never wanted to come in, anyway.
"Boys smell," she'd always said.
A/B/O thoughts, seeing is believing edition:
Namjoon's mother had never believed in love. She'd married because her parents had thought it was best, and her prospective groom was smart and sweet and hardworking. He'd be good to her, she knew it from the first time they met.
A/B/O thoughts, lost & found edition:
When Namjoon finally leaves the bedroom, Jimin’s relieved to see he has pants on for the first time in days. They’re basketball shorts, and they’re twisted too far in one direction, but he’s managed to get his feet through the correct legs.
Little A/B/O thoughts, astronaut edition:
Jungkook brings it up, sometimes, when he and Jin are alone.
“When we have to go,” he says. “They’ll let us all serve together, for sure?”
“Of course,” Jin says. “We’re a pack. It’s against the law to separate us for long.”
Even more A/B/O AU thoughts: Taehyung knows from the first time he sees Jungkook that the kid's an omega, too. He isn't sure how he knows--Jungkook's only 13, unpresented. There's nothing in his scent to give it away, and he's got the beginnings of an alpha's frame, strong.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, Yoonmin edition:
Yoongi's hands are works of art.
Jimin's not sure what makes them more special--the way they look, all long fingers and broad palms and defined veins, or the fact that Yoongi chooses to use them so kindly, so thoughtfully, so gently.
A/B/O thoughts, alpha-Yoongi-in-rut edition:
Yoongi wakes up a split-second away from coming. He opens his eyes the dark, and he can feel his cock throbbing between his legs. He's sweating, he's so close, heat pooled low in his belly. He can't remember what he was dreaming.
More A/B/O AU thoughts, Namkook edition: Jungkook's the one to bring it up first, over a bowl of jajangmyeon at their favorite place, a little hole-in-the-wall they go to when it's just them, and he says it like it's nothing, just, "I'm going to come off the suppressants."
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, knowing what you have edition:
Sometimes, Jungkook feels a little smug.
He's not proud of it. He's never liked smug people. He meets them all the time, in his line of work. People who think they're special because they have money, beauty, fame.
Little A/B/O thoughts, seven is a crowd edition:
When there are seven people fucking in a small space (generally with a lot of enthusiasm), sometimes things can get a little...dangerous.
Usually, it's dangerous in the best way, the way that Hoseok likes, exciting and wild.
A/B/O AU thoughts, MiniMoni edition:
It starts with the presents.
Jimin goes into the bathroom to shower, and when he reaches for his usual things in his spot on the shelf, there's something new--shower gel in a pretty, lavender bottle. It smells like lilac, his favorite.
A/B/O AU thoughts, loving and letting go edition:
The first time Hoseok's mother sees him on a stage, she knows he's special. He's four, playing the role of a bird in his preschool play. The choreography is simple, just some turning in circles and flapping of cardboard wings.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, "sexy Namjoon!" edition:
The pack has been together too long for hotness to always be the first thing they think about when they look at each other.
They're all objectively attractive. It's a fact. A part of life, like breathing, or doing the dishes.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, night out edition:
The strange thing about fame, Namjoon often thinks, is how it simultaneously makes the world so big, and yet so small. He's been on more flights than he can remember, but sometimes he doesn't even want to go to the convenience store.
A/B/O thoughts, first impressions edition:
When Hoseok first meets Yoongi, he thinks about a stone. Yoongi is quiet. Yoongi watches what the rest of them do, but stays where he is, sitting across the room. Sometimes, he watches them laugh, and doesn’t laugh himself.
Teeny-tiny A/B/O thoughts, Vmin edition:
Taehyung discovers the whole thing by accident. He flirts outrageously with Hoseok all day at rehearsal, and he doesn't stop when they get into the car to go home, doesn't stop when Jimin climbs in with them.
A/B/O AU thoughts, yet again: For a long time, Hoseok isn't sure he's ever going to make a place for himself. His parents (both betas) are proud of him--he's the first alpha born into the family in three generations, and expectations are high, even if no one says so out loud.
Very small A/B/O thoughts, Jinkook edition:
The thing is, Jin doesn't really think he's all that special.
He knows he's handsome. It's fun to joke about, to shock people with his boldness. He knows he can sing, he knows he's funny. He likes these things about himself.
A/B/O thoughts, Hopekook smut edition: One of the very best things about having six packmates, in Jungkook's opinion, is that it's pretty easy to get needs met. There's always someone around to help with lyrics, to be a shoulder to cry on, to play video games and drink all night.
(And then he'll hold the pup close, right up against his chest, and whisper, "I love you, and I'll always love you, no matter who you are."
Just to be sure that they know what he hadn't, right from the start.)
A/B/O thoughts, checkup edition:
There are lots of things in Hoseok’s life that are difficult. The pressure of the public eye. Writing lyrics that feel adequate for the music inside him. Working enough, and not too much.
Right now, though, the most difficult thing is Namjoon.
A/B/O thoughts, Minimoni 😉😉 edition:
There are many things in Jimin's life that never get old. The roar of a crowd. Hitting a high note just right. Perfectly cooked pork belly.
And (most of all) Namjoon, the biggest, strongest alpha in the pack, at his fucking mercy.
A/B/O thoughts, sex toys edition: The night before Namjoon and Yoongi leave for LA, Hoseok gives them each a present.
"This is...a fleshlight thing?" Namjoon says.
"You bought us each a fleshlight thing," Yoongi says.
"Yes," Hoseok says. "For my own sanity."
A/B/O AU thoughts, fanservice edition:
The idea is weird.
"It's weird," Yoongi says.
"It's what the fans want," Hoseok says.
"I love it, personally," Jungkook says.
"You would," Yoongi says. "Being half-choked in front of a stadium full of people is your dream."
A/B/O thoughts, once again: Taehyung's mother comes to his room the morning he leaves for Seoul, for BigHit and a potential pack. They nuzzle each other one more time, a goodbye.
"You'll be alright," she says. "You're smart. Your instincts will tell you if it's the right fit."
A/B/O thoughts, fanmeet edition:
Yoongi finds Namjoon in the living room. He doesn’t have to look for long. Their dorm is small, all their beds crammed together in a single room, their clothes and belongings in stacks and piles in the hallways and on the living room shelves.
A/B/O thoughts, Namkook kiss-and-make up edition:
The argument grows from something so small, Namjoon doesn't even notice it, really. Their management team calls with a photoshoot schedule. Jungkook's concept is floral, and they want him first, a full day in some fancy garden.
(Jimin does get to sit and eat his favorite with the rest of his pack, though, gets to feel himself come back to life again surrounded by their laughter and their warmth after a long, exhausting schedule, so. Maybe it’s a little thoughtful.)
Nothing Beside Remains:
The Bangtan pack, surviving together at the end of the world. (OT7, A/B/O, apocalypse, drama but also fluff because I am soft for these boys, 18+)
(link in next tweet)
(And anyway. Yoongi watches Namjoon walk around the house for weeks running his fingers over the blunt ends of his new teeth, looking at them in the mirror, getting admiring glances from the omegas.
He smells happy, so. Yoongi’s happy, too.)
Thinking about my A/B/O, apocalypse AU today and how the Bangtan pack formed in the first place: Entertainment companies always want packs. It keeps groups together and makes them more marketable, but it's not easy. You can't force compatibility. It's instinctual, unpredictable.
(“It’s nice when you get used to it, isn’t it, hyung?” Jungkook says, wriggling in beside him.
Namjoon’s scent fills with contentment, and Jungkook nuzzles against Jin’s throat with his soft, round cheek.
Jin doesn’t say it, but he does kind of think so.)
Very small A/B/O AU thoughts, Taejin edition:
Jin likes how differently his packmates respond to touch, to his hands in their hair. Namjoon goes a little limp, like a puppy being scratched behind the ear (adorable). Jimin smiles, lets Jin kiss him, soft. Jungkook falls asleep.
A/B/O thoughts, bad porn fantasies edition:
It starts when Yoongi remembers a song.
An old one, just a first draft, that he and Namjoon had written years ago. The lyrics hadn't been great, but the beat was good, and he can't quite replicate it from memory, so he goes looking.
(“What,” Jin says. “Is this? In the BATHTUB? Naked in the BATHTUB?”
Namjoon tries very hard to blink himself awake. “Um,” he says. “Well…”
“Mmff,” Taehyung says, muffled, from somewhere against Namjoon’s chest.
It still sounds quite a lot like, “I told you so.”)
Little A/B/O thoughts, Namseok edition:
Namjoon likes Hoseok, when they first meet. He's incredibly kind, so hard-working, and maybe an alien (a human being shouldn't be able to move their body that way).
It's just that Namjoon doesn't really know... what to do with him.
A/B/O thoughts, Taegi edition: Yoongi thinks Taehyung's beautiful all the time. He's beautiful when he's tired, and there are dark circles under his eyes, and beautiful when he's asleep, drooling on his pillow, beautiful when he emerges from the shower fresh-faced, hair dripping.
A/B/O thoughts, haircut edition:
When Namjoon gets home, Taehyung is already waiting for him.
“Come on,” Taehyung says. He tugs at Namjoon’s arm, leads him down the hallway to his room. There’s a nest on the floor. Small and close, meant for two. It’s wonderful and welcoming.
A/B/O fic drop!
There’s an alpha in the woods. Jungkook needs to get away.
-NBR-verse
-Namkook
-Warnings for (mild) consensual non-consent and sexual roleplay
-Link in next tweet!
Namjoon’s lips part, just enough that Taehyung can see his canines, big and impressive, and Taehyung tilts his head back further, more, until he gets a noseful of almost-rut alpha arousal, thick and heady and enough to make him dizzy.
They lunge for each other in unison.
A/B/O thoughts, NamJinYoonSeok post-concert edition:
When Jin had been a boy, he'd won a stuffed octopus at his school festival. It had been soft and small and cute, and it had made him happy, just looking at it. It fit just right in the crook of his arm, safe and warm.
A/B/O thoughts, Namgi edition: Like many of the problems in Namjoon's life, the whole thing starts with Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jimin. He comes home late from the studio and he can smell them, sex and pleasure and need. He drops all his things at the door and follows the scent.
Tiny A/B/O thoughts, betrayal edition:
When Jin tries to think of a word to describe what it’s like to be in a committed pack with the 6 most wonderful humans ever born, “lucky” is the word he usually picks. “Cozy”, sometimes, or “safe”.
Today, though, he thinks, “bullshit”.
(It’s really more like a week, but Namjoon just smells like sex and a little embarrassment now, which Jin thinks is much better than the absolute misery he’d smelled of when he’d come home after the radio show, even after Jungkook laughed and laughed and told him it was alright.)
A/B/O thoughts, soft and sweet edition: Taehyung's out with Jimin, in a restaurant's VIP room and almost through a wildly expensive bottle of wine when he feels it, an uneasiness that comes on from nowhere and doesn't leave. He smiles, pretends, but Jimin notices (of course).
