CONFERENCE RALLY! 🎉🌹
We're so excited to announce the lineup for our rally at Labour Conference. Please join us to celebrate Labour's General Election win and to connect with like-minded members. 🙌🌹
⏰ 19:00 - 20:00, Tuesday 24th September
📍Grace Suite, Hilton Hotel
This is the politics Keir Starmer wants to bury.
The politics of half a million members.
The politics of public ownership, wealth taxes & a new economy.
The politics of hope.
The politics of socialism.
But we won't let him - we are not leaving.
Glad such a vile display of Putin apologism was cancelled.
We are proud that the Labour Party supports NATO, and stands in solidarity with Ukraine in their courageous fight against Russian aggression.
Can someone please let George, Lowkey and the entire atrocity revisionist circus on display here that I am the reason their event was cancelled.
I want them to know it was me.
“In just two years, a dedicated team of Starmer enforcers have completely rewired the party, weeded out vested interests and given the leadership more control than any Labour leader has previously had”
The work continues… 👇
One of NATO's lickspittles speaks.
Join us in saying no to these apologists for the war machine. These advocates for arms dealers. These enthusiasts for the military industrial complex.

Labour banging on about a party 12 months ago at Downing Street? Not as bad as wallpaper but nobody cares - why on Earth did they stop the attacks on HS2 and public transport when they had a direct line to 'red wall' seats? Is it because people outside Westminster cared?
#PMQs
Solidarity with Labour Party staff facing these horrendous accusations today. Proper leaders take responsibility for election results under their tenure instead of blaming their staff. Attacking staff who can't defend themselves publicly is shameful.
EXC: Liz Truss overruled officials to demand £1.4K lunch at Tory donor's gentleman's club in Mayfair
Officials warned 5 Hertford St was "incredibly expensive"
But per emails, she "refused to consider anywhere else" and "explicitly" rejected alternatives
Enough is enough. The worst General Election defeat since 1935. Our working-class heartlands decimated. Five more years of Tory Government and Jeremy Corbyn can't even utter an apology.
It's time to go.

When Theresa May left Labour with an open goal in 2017, Momentum kicked the ball wide into the stands
The fact they're still celebrating the defeat of 2017 which led to a bad Brexit deal, rise of Boris Johnson and the chaos that followed says it all
It's a lie that only centrism is electable.
In 2017, despite sabotage within, Corbyn's Labour won more votes than in 2015, '10, '05 & even '01.
Voters responded to an anti-austerity alternative.
The project to drag Labour back to elite interests comes from above, not below.
Delighted to announce that
@kira_millana
will be joining the Labour First staff team as Social Media and Digital Organiser, working with our fantastic colleagues at

and
@ProgressOnline
!
He (
@Keir_Starmer
) said it was vital to “demonstrate that Labour was not a party of protest but was serious about winning power”
“That means being very proud of what Labour achieved under Blair and his successor Gordon Brown when it was last in office”👇
Amazing to see
@stellacreasy
returned to Parliament with over 75% of the vote. Her courage in the face of a despicable, nasty, personalised campaign against her should inspire us all.
Shadow Chancellor
@RachelReevesMP
addressing our Annual Meeting and calling for the Tories to make way for a Labour government with the ideas to tackle the cost of living crisis and the integrity the Tories lack
The only partyconference a Labour NEC member should be speaking at is Labour Party Conference, not the conferences of the Socialist Party i.e. Militant
Saturday 21 November
#Socialism2020
speakers include:
* Hannah Sell, Socialist Party general secretary;
* Peter Taaffe, Socialist Party political secretary;
and Howard Beckett Unite AGS & Labour NEC member
STATEMENT: Margaret Hodge has been a steadfast campaigner against racism, fascism and intolerance throughout her political life. She saw off the BNP in Barking, and has over the last few years been determined in her opposition to antisemitism within the Labour Party... 1/5
Keir Starmer showing what a government led by somebody with respect for the office of Prime Minister, the rule of law and the public could look like 🌹
Britain deserves so much better than Boris Johnson and his government. We must fight harder than ever to get them out 🗳
When ballots drop tomorrow it's not just about Leader and Deputy. Don't leave the Hard Left in control of Labour's NEC. Vote for candidates who will restore unity and decency to Labour: Johanna Baxter & Gurinder Singh Josan for CLP reps, Carol Sewell for BAME rep.
“Sir Keir has tightened his grip on the party and, crucially, has chosen a side in the battle for Labour’s future, to the horror of Corbyn loyalists”

There's no point changing the direction of Labour's leadership if we don't give them an NEC that will back them up. Vote
@JohannaBaxter
and
@gsjosan
for NEC.
Last night's
#Newsnight
showed us what we're up against. Some don't want to give Keir a fair chance at all, and they'll use antisemitic tropes while they do it.
We need to elect an NEC that will back Keir up in tearing the poison of antisemitism out of our party by its roots.

Despite their pleas for more cash, Momentum have enough money to hire 5 new members of staff to organise internally within the Labour Party!
We can’t take our eyes of the ball.
Help level the playing field and don’t let us return to the Corbyn years -
Sacking decent, competent, experienced party staff to try and hold onto whatever narrow factional advantage you can is disgustingly short-sighted. You can't play politics with peoples jobs.
Seems as though Karie Murphy has Labour's analytics team in her sights - the polling experts who warned her that the party was heading for election defeat.
Out this morning handing out leaflets with the wider
@labtowin
team.
What a fantastic Conference we have delivered together.
We have put Labour back on track to Government and on the precipice of power 💪
In 1997, we offered to the country a vision which resonated with them. We won a landslide victory of 418 seats.
In 2019, we suffered our worst defeat since 1935. But the spirit of 1997 shows that when parties reflect and listen - the public will reward them power to deliver 🌹
The tide is turning. The Labour Party might finally be free from the Hard Left's control. Make sure we get the job done by being of Britain's biggest network of moderate Labour members

“I don’t think you cease to be a patriot because you notice your country has flaws.”
“On the contrary, the reason we in this party want to correct those flaws is because we are patriotic.” -

The IHRA definition of antisemitism and Labour's decision to apologise to whistleblowers shouldn't be up for debate. Well done to David Evans for making that clear to CLPs across the country.
David Evans, Labour general secretary, writes to CLPs to say it isn't "competent business" to discuss apology to BBC Panorama whistleblowers, EHRC report or IHRA anti-semitism definition
CLPs which debate Panorama may be liable if they repeat allegations now withdrawn by Labour
Proud to support the 136th Durham Miners’ Gala 🌹 celebrating our proud heritage, the strength of the union movement, and this year, a special focus on the sacrifices of key workers through the pandemic ✊
The Momentum run Labour Party has lost two general elections in four years. Help us beat their candidate so the next 4 years aren't defined by Labour defeats too.

We're backing Rebecca Long-Bailey for Labour Party leader.
She's the only candidate that will take on the political establishment and give power back to communities. This powerful speech shows just that.
