The man felt reluctant at first but he later had to go, I mean, he wouldn't want his son dead right??. About 15-20 minutes later, he got back carrying the boy in his arms (he couldn't even walk!) Subhanallah 😢.

On sighting the boy, we knew what his genotype was, he's a Sickle Cell Anaemia carrier!!. We advised he was rather taken to the hospital for proper medical attention but before he left, we gave him lucozade boost

He looked so pale, appearing more like several pants of blood has just been drained off him (Eye lid inner linings white, chapped and off faded lip colour, fingers and nails and also his foot colour was faded). He looked so dehydrated too

Now assume if I had not let the mild pain go and move on, how would I have noticed the scorpion whose venom would have hurt me more. Secondly, if not for the mercy of Allah, wouldn't I have just laid down on the prayer mat and sleep instead of reciting the Qur'an that kept me up?
