I feel like I don’t focus on #Moshang a lot but here’s an old #svsss idea I had that now won’t leave me alone: MBJ visits a noodle restaurant that SQH works at and SQH thinks he hates him, but MBJ leave a really good tip. Then to his further surprise, MBJ becomes a regular.

I hope this thread was informative. I’m still conflicted on the whole thing because I’m disappointed that this *is* such a term in Chinese, but also slightly in disbelief that no one at 7seas stopped to think about this.

@heavensclowns HNGKSJFKSHD really really close honestly… 😂 Although I wouldn’t necessarily say he thought SQQ was romantically interested in him; he himself fell in love but just wanted to stay by shizun’s side and keep him happy because no one’s ever been that kind to him. 🥺♥️

So about 人妖… Literally speaking, it means “human monster/demon.” Which within itself doesn’t sound too bad, especially since the 妖 used here is the same as in yaoguai and yaojing (妖怪 and 妖精), which are just supernatural creatures that people now find cool.

#SVSSS Story Idea: Bing-ge would use the dreamscape to punish Shen Jiu, and somewhere down the line Meng Mo took pity on the man and approached him, telling him he'd craft him something nice in his own dreamscape while he's asleep and Bing-ge is away.

Like genuinely I know many LGBTQ+ folks find comfort in danmei, and it sucks when something you saw as comforting turns around and smacks you like this. I know a lot of us are here for fun/because we love these series, but I did think it was important to acknowledge.

Now we get tons of donghua releasing every year—more than I could probably ever watch all of. But MDZS (and QZGS) was arguably one of the big reasons donghua became recognized outside of China, and both also helped build the career of their initial studio, BC May.
