Everyone all pumped up about the big bud tractor coming out. I’d love to see this idea adapted to a chore tractor. Easily repaired by anyone. Common parts. Over build the weak spots and take out the fancy crap. Be a gold mine for someone

Came up 300 bu short on a 30000 contract. Elevator said too bad no forgiveness this year(I signed it that’s fair) but now they won’t take November grain till hopefully sometime in January. Can I say no forgiveness this year send the cheque now and I’ll haul it after calving?

If you’re going to buy trucks at Ritchie Bros and resell them 2 weeks later and ask 30-50 grand more don’t claim you’ve owned it for 10 years. But if you must be like that at least be clever enough to take your own pictures instead of using the RB watermarked ones.

Unpopular farmer opinion: instead of crying and whining to get a free mug or hat I just spent some time delivering snacks to some businesses we deal with. 20 bucks worth of jerky can get a guy out of a situation sometimes. Working relationships are worth more than a hat imo.

I try not to be too political on here. But being an organizer in a protest gets you jailed and denied bail. Yet we have repeat offenders breaking into yards. Rural crime at all time high and for some reason we can’t have those guys locked up for more than 6 minutes

I’m not a complainer, but why don’t elevators pay a premium for over dry canola? They factor shrink and apply a discount on tough then blend it to make it 10 anyway. So why can’t they go the other way?

PSA: if you whack a boom to a tree and break a nozzle off during in crop spraying, and you forget and follow that same track for fungicide you will have the same problem. Also if you follow the fungicide track for desiccation don’t expect better results.

@RobSomerville1 My wheel loader has become one of the most used things on the farm. Feeding, moving bales, piling manure, dirt work, snow removal. Don’t look at it like you’re limited because it can’t do what a tractor can. Look at what it does with ease that a tractor can’t.
