Hey, how are you doing? So I noticed your resume looks like there are gaps and I also feel you don’t need to add your address just your location and only experiences relevant to the job you are applying for.
Now, this is just my opinion.
Before I run ads I usually like to do these things:
First thing I always like to do is audit the ad account. While I’m at it, I make sure the pixel and other things are set up properly. I do this to check for what has worked in the past and what didn’t also why they didn’t.
Get familiar with Facebook Ads terms
1. Impressions: An impression is counted as the number of times your ad is on screen for the first time. For example: If your ad is on someone’s screen and they scroll down and then scrolls back up to the same ad, that counts as 1 impression.
Facebook Ads are generally about a lot of trials and errors in order find an ad that prints you a lot of money then scaling that ad till it stops working.
One thing I've learnt running ads is that you never really know until you try.
While experts may have their opinions and you can give their strategies a shot, you can't definitively say something won't work for you until you've tried everything and it still doesn't work.
This might be common knowledge but always make sure your images and videos are sized properly so that they don’t get cut out when you’re running your ads.
Instagram and Facebook Feed: 1080x1080 (1:1)
Instagram Stories: 1080x1920 (9:16)
Instagram Reels: 1080x1920 (9:16)
The way I see it is instead of learning how to advertise on Facebook or Google, learn advertising and human psychology that way the social media platforms would just be the tools you use to get your offer out there.
Started working with this architecture company with a high ticket offer. I’m currently running a lead campaign and asked for feedback from their sales rep.
Pretty good feedback in my opinion. What do you think?
So the past few days have been really weird for me and today I just got off the phone with an ad client, she was over the moon talking about how she has gotten a lot of orders from an ad I’m running and she’d like me to handle her other business.
Ngl but that made me happy 🥲
Social media manager/marketers, the work and effort into your clients’ pages is great but don’t forget to put in that same work and effort into growing your own pages ❤️
My first Facebook ad client was a flop. I couldn’t even get them their initial investment back.
Your first time probably going to suck and that’s okay.
It was from that I learnt I had the whole thing backwards, I didn’t do testing right, my ad structure was a complete mess
Most times I have 3-4 ads in one ad set and I usually like to give each ad between 4-6 days to run but sometimes when I see an Ad is clearly underperforming I turn it off, no use in wasting ad spend.
Here’s an article that can guide you on how to test
The moment you finally sit down and do the thing you have been procrastinating only to find out it took you an hour to finish as opposed to 3 days you have been putting it off for, yeah that is me right now 🥲
