EIP-1559 is scheduled to go live this week and I still see a lot of wrong takes on its impact. Remember: - It doesn't make $ETH deflationary by default. - It doesn't reduce $ETH supply by 90%, referred as "triple halving". - It's still very bullish for $ETH. Why? 🧵👇

ERC20s You approve a contract to access amount X of token TKN. - The approved contract can take X of TKN from your wallet any time. - It doesn't matter if you have hardware wallet or not. - X of TKN is approved until X is spent by the contract or you revoke the approval.

How did this sell-off affect structural supply / demand after the Merge? Not much. Posting bullish takes on $ETH after it has plunged by 35% in a week feels a bit awkward but I'm just showing you the data. Think whatever you want but fundamentals haven't changed... 🧵👇

Arbitrum projects have received a lot of attention in the recent month and for a good reason. $GMX, $DPX, $UMAMI, $MAGIC, $TCR have been constantly delivering over the bear months. So has @vestafinance $VSTA. Can it become a dominant stablecoin player on L2s? Let's see! 🧵👇

I lost a lot of money in multiple DeFi exploits. It changed me. If you have suffered from $BEAN exploit today, I'm sorry. I was lucky enough not to play this time but I get your pain. I have 5 tips for you. It won't give you your money back but maybe you will find it helpful.

Concentrated liquidity in Uniswap V3 has usually been considered as a net positive innovation. It's definitely good for traders, arbitrageurs and parasitic MEV wizards. But is it good for LPs? According to a recent study, half of LPs are actually losing money! See more: 🧵👇

1) @iearnfinance TVL crossed $3B. This is a big milestone. It grounds Yearn's 1st place in the competition between yield aggregators - amazing achievement taking into account that it's the only protocol which doesn't incentivize TVL by issuance of its native token $YFI.

What is needed for a bull market to resume? When macro eventually switches from headwind to tailwind, how can crypto attract new adopters? Current user experience in crypto sucks. We need a killer app: web2 simplicity + web3 ownership. I believe I have found one... 🧵👇

There is a common misconception that due to concentrated liquidity on Uni v3 liquidity providers (LPs) earn substantially more trading fees. This is what the original v3 announcement suggests but it's not exactly how it works. Let's find out why! 🧵👇 $UNI

5/ 💸 Concentrated Liquidity means LPs can earn the same amount of fees with just a fraction of the underlying capital, while keeping more of their total portfolio in desired assets! 🔥 Capital efficiency gains max out at 4000x for LPs adding liquidity to a 0.10% price range

1. Staked ETH won't be unlocked at the Merge The Merge won't enable withdrawals. This is planned for another Ethereum upgrade which may take place 6-12 months after the Merge. In other words, both staked $ETH and staking rewards will not enter the circulation for a long time.

ETH inflation has been reduced by 98% since the Merge: ➡️ Supply change in PoS: 7k ETH ➡️ Supply change in PoW: 349k ETH And it's been mostly quiet 30 days of mediocre on-chain activity. Let's rewind this month with a few helpful graphs. 🧵👇

Being a liquidity provider for tokens that shoot up in price is a pain. You want to respect the pump but you can't because you are getting rekt by "impermanent" loss. Just look at this LP for $AXS-ETH. Rekt. It doesn't have to be this way. Check out how! 🧵👇

1) I really like experiments. Especially the ones which can disrupt what we are currently used to. DeFi is the best example - an attempt to disrupt TradFi with a code. AMMs are already disrupting centralized exchanges and constantly evolve. What about the final form of AMM?

I'm building a portfolio of Arbitrum tokens. Which ones would you recommend me to look into? I'm a boring man so no meme tokens please. Only serious projects.

I'm not sold on GambleFi. "Gambling is huge industry, so crypto-gambling will be huge too" Will it? Who will use a blockchain casino? - Non crypto-natives already have online casinos. - Crypto-natives have Uniswap casino. And Uniswap lets you have an edge, casino doesn't.

This is the thread with links to my old threads that, in my opinion, can still be useful and informative today. Twitter is all about immediate information consumption. It's hard to browse the older content so I thought I can make it easier this way.

$OHM has been going down for weeks taking down $TIME, $BTRFLY, $KLIMA, $ROME and other projects inspired by @OlympusDAO token model. There is a lot of bearishness on CT and takes that their market caps inevitably go to the parity with their treasuries. Are they? 🧵👇

I woke up to a blood bath and everyone is depressed. But it will be fine. Eventually. Today let's celebrate small wins. $ETH is finally ultra sound! The way it happened is probably not what we wanted to experience but it is what it is.

I did 40 accounts on @bounce_finance to get allocation for $SAVM @SatoshiVM IDO. In the best-case scenario, I'd have made 1,260,000$ from 5,000$ or 252x. In the worst-case scenario, I'd have lost 1000$ on gas costs. Basing on the attached picture, guess what happened.

So many people shared this thread I thought it was a serious analysis. I'm disappointed. Author's thesis: - Solana is superior because it offers cheap txs, high TPS and good UX/UI. - Decentralization doesn't matter. 🤦 You know what is even cheaper and faster? AWS. $ETH $SOL

3. Staked ETH is often a never-sell stack Who would voluntarily lock $ETH for many months, not knowing when withdrawals will be even possible? ETH maxis, no doubt. 😉 Most ETH stakers are long-term investors. They are not interested in selling, especially not at current prices.
