@GuyDealership If the stainless steel frame really proves rustproof, it's the commercial market they will really dominate. Work trucks get a tiny scratch and rust out in many parts of the country. Buying a new $60K truck every few years to avoid rust isn't sustainable.

@realEstateTrent The solution is simple (and other countries do it): portable mortgages. As long as the collateral is a similar class of home, you should be able to take your mortgage with you by putting up a different home as collateral. This would solve the entire issue and exists elsewhere

@sweatystartup It's going to be high of 28 today in Austin. Last night the windchill hit -30 in Iowa (where I grew up). It will be back to almost 70 by Thursday. The two aren't even remotely comparable.

@AdamSinger 90% of the music piped in public places just adds to the general noise level. Too quiet to be heard, too loud to be totally ignored. Restaurants think they need noise for "energy", but it's often fatiguing and unpleasant.

@iichroma @psframes exactly, the camera settings were completely different from right to left. Take the picture with the same camera setup and same lighting and the implied difference of the frame will be drastically less.

@tomfgoodwin 100%. My wife loves her Tesla with passion purely because she "never wants to worry about going to a gas station ever again". Takes 2.3 seconds it in each night and it's a "full tank" each morning. Zero stress. Enviro benefits, etc. all gravy. Sorry @gas_biz

@financeguy725 This is terrible advice. I've seen settlements and deals that would have been great for both parties go south b/c one party wanted to f*ck the other side out of spite simply b/c they hated their lawyer so much. A lawyer's job is to get you the best outcome, not be biggest a-hole.

@sweatystartup I know this is just more of your dumb engagement farming, but since you specifically list trains--they don't run on gasoline at all and in fact they are electric motors. They can run from overhead lines or carry diesel generators with them, but they are ALL electric

@maybe_dan_ @GuyDealership Depends on your definition of "fleet". Lots of small biz building industry folks have high end trucks they take pride in (and write off). Even the big fleets will come around when costs fall (like Tesla always does--intro luxury first, then mass market).

@tomfgoodwin Tesla fans, sure. But lots of serious truck users are tired of frames rusting out under thin sheet metal. The corrosion proof, thick steel exoskeleton could be a game changer for commercial users, especially in snowy states.
