I think this backs up @NathanAClark 's criticism of Mourinho; the squad isn't great but if Ben Davies going down is a massive blow to your attacking structure and you can't adapt then that says more about you as a manager.

Ik there are grievances against Levy and certain realities that as an overseas fan I don't fully grasp. But in the Kane situation I'm not sure you can do more than offer a player a huge deal (money, post-retirement role), and when HE rejects it, negotiate a brilliant fee.

I'm Richy's biggest fan but periods like these are when you feel his injury trouble becomes too much of a problem. Still think Ange had a nightmare playing Son that many minutes, but having Richy would've made the choice to bench Son easier. Solanke was blowing by the end too.
