In the past, central government has stepped in and covered approximately 90 per cent of the cost. The same thing will need to happen this time. The Conservative candidate also says that Tower Bridge is maintained by TfL. He is wrong; it is maintained by the City of London.

I just don't understand (white) America's proud elevation of the police. The cops play a useful role in society but the less I see of them, the safer I feel. If the police are there, it says to me the authorities have determined there's a greater risk of dangerous activity
