If I had a dollar for every time i've seen footage of a hxc band where the bass player didn't get the memo about dressing the part
- survived a suicide attempt
- did a full US tour
- met and subsequently started dating the best person I’ve ever met
- went vegan
- stopped doing drugs
- started an outpatient program to deal with my mental health
why do people feel the need to act like they’ve known about every single band for their entire lives? there is nothing wrong with discovering an older band later than others and being into it regardless. stop acting like an asshole 😪
not to overshare on the tl but I went 22 years with an undiagnosed eating disorder and thought I was just some freak with fucked up eating habits. in 2017 I got diagnosed w a legitimate disorder and I’ve been in treatment for the last 2 years. still tough but I’m getting there
a year ago today I tweeted about wanting to quit music
this year I’ve gotten more opportunities than I ever imagined, including getting to tour with two bands that were huge for me when I was a teenager
thanks to everyone who believed in us
Not to overshare but due to my ED I’ve spent most of my life eating on a very limited diet and would go years and years without ever trying anything new. Now I’m in treatment for it and have been trying one new food a week. I don’t feel proud often but I’m really happy about it.
I’m not normally one to tweet shit like this but today’s show was just proof of how perfect the Philly area hc scene is. Here’s JP doing their thing 🙏🏻
feels so good to have this shit out, super overwhelmed by all the positive reception so far and thankful for everyone who helped make this release happen - Lumpy, Isaac, Andy, Ridge, Ashley and everyone else. thank you everyone ❤️
