Watching Moneyball with my 7 year old son last night. Scene at the end when Billy Beane gets offered 12.5M to take Red Sox job...my 7yo says...”I wouldn’t leave.” He said he’d stay with the A’s. Proud moment. Here’s to hoping this next generation can bring loyalty back.

Incredible tourney. From Elite Eight games to the Finals, it was maybe the all time best. Anyone who knocks the style of play of the 2 Finals teams doesn’t appreciate quality basketball. 2 great teams to watch. UVA represents all that is right with college basketball!

@bballbreakdown Totally disagree. Creates an advantage, plain and simple. Have to protect the shooter throughout the entire shot. If that’s not the rule, I’m making late contact every time as a defender, and you can’t tell me that wouldn’t impact shooting percentage.

Let me first say I love they way Villanova works on jump stops and playing off two feet. But what I need clarity on is…when does a jump stop + a step = traveling? Is this a travel?? The officiating video/clinics I’ve been to through the years contradict on this topic.

Flop rule is terrible. Its way harder for referees to enforce than simply not calling anything if a guy flops. 1)charges are inherently an exaggeration of contact 2)refs miss real contact all the time…now they r encouraged to penalize wrong team when they miss initial contact.

Have never been much of a fan of the shooting cue “get your feet set.” You want players to have an active/engaged base/lower body rather than being stuck in 1 spot. Shot prep cues: 1. Play low- engages the big shooting muscles 2. Active feet 3. Sense of urgency before the catch.
