Nick, you are there because of your bravery and strength in facing up to your depression. You are never a burden. In these moments, use the situation as a stepping stone to recovery. If you need anything at all, please reach out. You are loved very much my dear friend.
@LifeAfloat
Please keep going Nick. We all desperately want you to get better, but it will take time. Continue being patient with yourself and let yourself have those bad days. I'm sorry you're having to go through this hardship. I promise you it will get better, with support and over time.
@LifeAfloat
Grateful that you're in good and loving hands now Nick. Please take your time and don't rush your recovery. We will all be waiting for you when you get better. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way. Rest and recover my friend.
I have now officially been accepted to resume my studies at
@HighlandTheol
. The apprehension and typical Scottish self-doubt are already setting in, but I have a few months to prepare. There is nowhere I would rather be studying than at HTC.

My thoughts are very much with you Nick. Keep being patient and kind to yourself. This darkness will eventually lift and you will get through this. Everyone here is with you and for you. Stay strong my friend, and keep fighting.
If you have an inclination for reading, especially regarding the Outer Hebrides, I recommend
@AcairBooks
.
They have a £5 sale running until the 31st with some great titles. Here are some that I have collected over the years. I even make a brief sporting appearance in one. ⚽
We've settled on this for our hike tomorrow. It is the old abandoned village at Stiomrabhaigh, South Lochs. I'm even dragging my poor ministear (minister) along.

The beauty of waking up early is to watch the sunrise. I love seeing the hills across the Minch on the horizon. The peaceful silence is only slightly interrupted by the noise of a fishing boat as it slowly meanders its way by.

What an eventful day!
• My distant relation from Tong survived an assassination attempt. 🇺🇲
• Carlos Alcaraz won the Wimbledon final in straight sets. 🎾
• Spain defeated England in the final of Euro 2024. ⚽
• It is my 18th wedding anniversary. 💍
Learn Biblical Greek I said...it will be fun I said...
It is one of the hardest, most infuriating and challenging things I've ever tried to do. I feel like quitting every second day and today is one of those days...But God 🙏🏻
My first semester of Greek Grammar has claimed this many pens. All assessments have been handed in and my final exam is tomorrow morning. My irrational fear of exams is not helping....
A nostalgic afternoon visit to the land of my father reliving my youth. This is where I used to spend my summers playing and beholding the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The past can offer a gateway into the soul. 1/3
This has to be one of my favourite times of the year. It is when the Escallonia starts to flower in June. The garden suddenly comes alive with the vibrant noise of bees, even late into the evening and setting sun.

Thank you for everything

💔. I'll miss your wisdom, advice and telling me how wrong I am. I'll see you in the better country, with Him 🙏🏻.

It is 93 years ago today that the inhabitants of St Kilda were evacuated. Here are just a couple of photos I took on my trip there. A magical and enchanting place that makes you feel like you're stepping into the past.
@LifeAfloat
This is good Nick. I'm so happy to see you settled in. Remember we are all here for you and will support you in any way to help you get back on your feet. Take it one day at a time and be kind and patient with yourself. We are here for you.
@LifeAfloat
So glad to see you're getting the care & attention you need at the moment. Keep on hanging in there. They will eventually get your medication right & you will see these dark clouds slowly lifting away. As always, if you need anything at all, please let me know my dear friend.
I resume my part time degree studies today. I am unsure how it will go given the constant Visual Snow and everything that goes along with it caused me to suspend my studies previously. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
