Explosive strength deficit is one of the tools I use to determine our lifting/plyo program to supplement our sprint work. We do the following to get our ESD score: 1) CMJ x3 2) Squat Jump x3 3) ((CMJ - SJ) / SJ) x 100 SCORE 10 or less = Plyometric focus > 10 = Strength focus
