@GStevens_jockey 2016 Breeder's Cup Distaff...two of the best horses ever, ridden for a full length stretch run battle with 2 hall of fame jockeys on their back. To me, racing doesn't get any better than that. Much respect to you and @mikeesmith10 . Mike feels the same way about Songbird.

@RRP_TBMakeover @paulickreport All the funds from fines. And stop making horses more worthy of aftercare based on their $$$ productivity & making owners responsible based on that $$ 4 owners back. The one who owns them when they can no longer run should be 100% responsible to assure a safe retirement.

@jonathanstettin Clear cut, consice, factual without bias or embellishment. WOW! Buried in the Bloodhorse news was the rule about topical application in KY. Had the public known this, it might have saved a lot of vitriol toward a trainer who clearly has a valid case.

IMO this is how you advocate for change. Owners, trainers, jockeys, stepping up against the status quo. Also, Mr. Reeves and Jr. situation. If more in the industry speak up, appeal what isn't right, it puts pressure on others for accountability. Make it a movement.
