@PaulRBerg even for coders with lots of experience this is the right workflow imo start by making the contract readable / easy to reason about and focus on correctness and security once that's in a good place move on to gas optimization

@tayvano_ mostly I agree with your views here But i think it gets more complex bc fighting for a "neutral base layer" is also invariably reduced to "defending the criminals" Somewhere one has to be firm on this point of non-censorship and it ALWAYS leads to the "pro-criminal" accusation

It’s absolutely a fact that crypto is having an identity crisis internally. And that’s ok! That creates growth (as in personal growth). Maturity is never easy, you have to earn it, you have to suffer through realizations and embarrassment to actually mature.

G-UNI Uniswap V3 collateral type integration we ( @gelatonetwork ) just did together with @MakerDAO is quite innovative imo (obviously biased!) First of its kind ERC20 wrapped concentrated uniswap v3 position used as collateral in a lending/borrowing protocol :)

decentralized automated market making is not going away the shift occurring is that some logic of new AMM's market making algo is being pushed offchain, into "layer 2" like designs but automated MMing strategies executed via a decentralized mechanism will only keep growing imo

I wrote a uniswap v4 hook that doesn’t compile ??!? Uniswap labs created the v4 protocol and made sure its MANDATORY that hooks won’t compile and can’t be deployed 😡 !!! This is ofc bc of sinister regulatory pressure !!! Defi is deddd
