I'm a resister - have been since Viet Nam. The JFK definition of liberal is me! I'm also optimistic and pretty happy. Pic is of my son - who is an angel now.

We have a rescue. He’s a beautiful agouti husky that the owner threw away when he was not even 8 weeks old. He still suckles on his comforter. I love this dog beyond reason.
@JoeNewberry
My oldest son is in hospice now and I wish that nurse was there! The caregivers have not been the best and he is in constant pain. We finally got through to everyone to up the meds. Everything (almost) has shut down or is shutting down. I want him to find the door soon.
@LibbyMbc
My oldest son got this news about a year ago - I understand your heartbreak in a way in which I wished I didn't. My heart goes out to you and your family.
@AveryBa68752542
@BigMillerBro1
My son is 49 with a growth on his brain stem. It’s terminal. My heart goes out to you both and all who have taken this devastating journey.
@mikecafc
I'm facing the loss of my oldest son - he has an inoperable growth on his brain stem - I'm 72 and he's 49. I would give the world to trade places. My heart goes out to you and may your memories keep you warm.
@shitscaredmum
My heart goes out to all of you. I’m right there with you as my heart is breaking. Learned tonight my son has about 2 weeks. The cancer on the left side of his brain is now growing fast on the right. Nothing has worked.
@katiemade8
I feel your pain and know that the missing pieces of my heart are out there with yours- mine dies 2 months ago. May your memories help. Grief is love with no place to go.
@RpsAgainstTrump
@rolandsmartin
I’m always amazed at people who say they like his policies. The racist ones? The ones lowering taxes for the rich? Sharing state secrets and betraying the trust of our allies? Getting rid of women’s rights? I could go on but you get it.
@HellBentVet
I'm trying but we learned today that my oldest son (49, wife, 2 kids) has an inoperable tumor on his brain stem. Going to try chemo and radiation. I'm heartbroken

I was intubated twice (before COVID came along). I’m vaccinated and will get the booster as soon as available. There won’t be a third time!
@JoyAnnReid
I’m white so I have “privilege”. I will be joining the next black lives matter protest in Sacramento. I don’t know what else to do but show up. (And vote)
@MadTownLaw
@JoeNewberry
They have finally come to that realization after my DIL pitched a fit! And now he is asleep and out of pain, probably for the duration of his way too short life (they think it's a couple of days)
@fuzzymittens
Several times in my career as a senior manager then at the executive level, I had men tell me to get them coffee while they wait for the executive. I showed them to our meeting room, got coffee, and started our meeting. 😊. It went well.
@RobnBroomfield
@AZ_Brittney
My oldest son is an English teacher. He read the book in HS and named my oldest granddaughter Scout. It's a must read in our family!
@VABVOX
I used to do the same. And now it’s you and my heart breaks and now it’s me (my son died this morning) and I realize the words I offered don’t begin to touch the pain But know that to the level I can, I feel your pain and am so sorry!
@TheRealHoarse
YAY! On NFL today they were talking about MVP and one of the guys (Boomer maybe) said he is only looking at those who play every game and don't go to a Halloween party without a mask and don't care about their colleagues and believe stupid stuff (the last was my paraphrase)
@LibbyMbc
and don't just wait for them to ask you - ask them questions like - I know you like mysteries, would you like me to read one to you? Or shall we watch one together?

@TrueFactsStated
My dad had multiple TIA’s that led to dementia. I can see that in trump. Difference is my dad was honorable before and after.
@WeHearPodcast
I was one of them also! Including hiding my pregnancy in 1972 so we could include my income to buy a house - otherwise, they would exclude it because I would have to stay home if I had a baby (their belief - I didn't)
@AttorneyCrump
WHY WHY WHY WHY OMG please stop! This is NOT a shoot first, ask questions late, country - or at least it used to not be one.

My heart breaks for the loss of your son and all the children and teachers. And breaks again for Texas’ willingness to keep the traitors in office. It beyond my ability to understand.

Thank you for your service! My dad drove an ambulance in England during World War 2, picking up the injured and dead coming back from their attacks on Germany (which helped save so many people and countries).

@TacoTuesdah
@LqLana
My best friend in the 70’s had a similar experience. No heartbeat at 7 months and was told to basically grin and bear it. She didn’t want to leave the house because everyone kept asking her when she was due and what names they had picked out. Horrible
@FordJohnathan5
I fear this is going to be the start because they don't know what else to do but get nasty - they sure can't fight with facts. Stay safe!
@VivianLeal123
I’ve had sepsis and only survived because the dr was able to treat me immediately with a new (in 2010) process I am so sorry and there is no excuse for this!
@swipe_blue
California (Sacramento area) where I could drop my ballot in the box without fear of intimidation from anyone. I love my state and appreciate my freedom. I wis all were like us.
@CalltoActivism
My blood sugar was dropping fast and I forgot to bring a gel tab (I'm diabetic) and I went to the candy at a Wal-Mart check out line and asked a man there for a candy bar - he realized what was happening and paid for the candy and he/wife stayed with me until I was ok!
@JonHerreraCa
@bajabug
Omg I’ve been there! I was in a medical coma and I’m still not sure what was real and illusion/ delusion. It’s 11 years later and I’ve adjusted pretty well but still have to ask what was real and not. Let me know if I can help!
@2StefanMoore
My heart goes out to you! I learned first hand last year - when my oldest son passed from brain stem cancer - that there is no loss like the loss of your child...regardless of their age.
@sandibachom
@cardon_brian
I was born in 1950 and believe every word she says. I was harassed by men and women assumed I slept my way up the ladder if I received any recognition or promotion. Couldn’t speak up. People who aren’t us have no idea.
@AveryBa68752542
Yay! I have a new family of mom and kitties - I am a property manager and I discovered later a tenant moved to TX (from CA) and left the pregnant cat (who then had the kitties) behind - unbeknownst to me - so she and 4 kitties are now sleeping in my dog's crate.
@AveryBa68752542
My dad was in the machinist union in Berkeley. The company moved to the south for cheaper labor, but the union helped my dad find a great job. I believe in unions and won’t cross a union picket line.daddy taught me well.
@SteveSchmidtSES
@unitedmomsofNC
I listened to Bob Corker on with Kasie this morning calling for an "end" to holding trump accountable - I find it galling that these people have the audacity to call for an end after their president has ruined the country!
@ConnieSchultz
I have struggled with depression, some situational (especially after 9/11) and much of it just in the way my brain is wired. I understand his pain. I’m so glad his parents also understand it and don’t “blame” him as so many do when their loved ones can’t take the pain.
@JoyceWhiteVance
This is just flat out unreal. The nightmare doesn't end, just gets worse. And we feel so powerless - we can march, we can scream, but it feels like we are in a hollow cave and no way out in time.

I'm 72- I identified with every line and there are a few more: I'm 22, married/pregnant/working full time but had to hide my pregnancy or none of my pay would be counted; I'm 25, divorced with 2 kids and a good job, unable to buy a house by myself. ex had to cosign.
@maxine_h_51
Maxine-I feel your pain-I am going through this with my oldest son. Far beyond more devastating than I imagined. I cry all night. I am struggling like you. My son is married to a wonderful woman and has two teenage kids (girl and boy) A beautiful family facing this pain.
@DrRobDavidson
@DrGJackBrown
Thanks Dr Rob. I had a few miscarriages and one was exactly as you described. It was in the 70’s in California. Thankfully they were able to do what had to be done so I could live and be a mom to my sons.
@AngieTarino
I’m 71 and have had many chapters. Bumps in all of them, some bumps worse than others but I’ve survived all of them. And better because of most of them. And had the bumps because I live out loud!!!💕💕💕
@johnpavlovitz
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride! Hunter S. Thompson
@stuartpstevens
@ProjectLincoln
Thank you and I'm standing with you - I believe in the work you have done and are doing. We may not always agree on all policies but what we do agree on is enough for me - and as has been said - one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole (damn) tree.
