presidential candidates are trying to collect electoral votes from each state to surpass 270 votes in total, or more in order to win the presidency. so back to the earlier example a candidate wins texas, they get 38 electoral votes (reps+senators added together)

mainly white gun violence prevention orgs endorsing biden is why im skeptical of white organizers in spaces where the issues don’t impact them nearly as much as it impacts poc organizers. OUR struggle with gun violence is multifaceted. tired of space being taken, just to hurt us.
