@MakeItRight95 She is definitely not the first to do this or to tell people to move. She’s just in a select group who thought it’s great time to try to profit off of this in the middle of a pandemic, when entrance into the country is LIMITED to just nationals and residency permit holders.

Update: it’s interesting witnessing homophobes throw together any slurs they can think of into one sentence. A mere photo of me in Jakarta with a rainbow flag posted on International Women’s Day has triggered the conservative parts of this country so much.

@Expat_Indo Didn’t agree with her statement that Bali is queer friendly (it really isn’t, though I wish it were the case!). However, the recent history with Bali claiming gay owned venues “taint” tourism is really coming to light here in terms of anti-lgbtq sentiment.
