Arraez had this tradition with the Marlins 1B coach Jon Jay where Arraez would smack the shit outta Jay’s chest after a single. Shit was mad funny to me.
Made a couple 1920 x 1080 “💛 PS 💛” cards for the YT thumbnail for the upcoming vid.
I find they work well as Twitter headers too.
Feel free to save/use if you want 🫰
HAD TO WATCH PAPI HARASS AL PLAYERS INSTEAD OF MY BOY MOWING DOWN TWO BATTERS!? — ONLY FOR HIM TO BE TAKEN OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER!?
JAIL! JAIL! JAIL!
@MLBONFOX
Padres fans, I’ve got two hype videos coming your way:
Tomorrow, September 29th - as soon as the last game of the regular season concludes.
Tuesday, October 1st - 10:00 AM PT.
We’re crying tomorrow, then we’re fighting on Tuesday.
💛 PS 💛
San Diego Padres pitcher Nick Martinez when a hard hit ball is hit to the 3B…
…then realizing he’s pitching for Team USA in the WBC and Nolan is at 3B.
There will be elation.
There will be happiness.
There will be vitriol.
There will be jealousy.
All of those feelings - and more - will be on full display tomorrow.
Regardless — he’s back.
We’re celebrating Fernando’s return tomorrow at Noon PT 🎥 🍿
Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr, Ha Seong Kim, Xander Bogaerts, Joe Musgrove, Yu Darvish, AJ Preller, the organization, and the entire city reading this.
One of the best owners of a sports franchise San Diego has ever had. He gave this city — not just the Padres — everything he could.
This picture will always stick with me for many reasons, but above all else it captured how loved he was by this team.
R.I.P. Papa Pete 🤎 💛
Stay focused.
Two games at home to send these fools home. Two games to let the world see just how electric Petco Park can be.
Two games.
A lot of nonsense coming from the other side! A bunch of desperate, on-their-last-breath attempts to rile.
Nonetheless — stay focused.
dave roberts or any other d*dger could have jumped on the stadium PA and said something when those mfs were throwing projectiles at Profar.
But he/they didn’t. Tells me everything I gotta know.
Wrong Padres team to pull that shit on, I’m afraid!
There’s a palpable electricity that Fernando brings to San Diego when he plays at Petco Park.
The lights shine brighter.
The grass looks greener.
The fans cheer louder.
He’s the heart of this team and the city - and it’s so SO good to have him back.
Much love to you
@tatis_jr
.
It took courage and vulnerability to do what you did today.
I, along with so many people here in San Diego and around the world, *heard* you today and can't wait to cheer you on next year.
The return of El Niño is going to be something special.
As we head to the seventh inning stretch of Game 162, your 2024 San Diego Padres are readying themselves for the postseason with a newly deified Baseball God in their corner…
I’ll see all of you right here as soon as the game wraps up.
💛PS💛
Seeing all the messages coming in and am so effing appreciative and thankful for all of you, this team, this city, and community.
It will always mean the world to me, but especially after this video, it means so so much more.
🫰💛🤎🫰
@MLBONFOX
i’m very upset. bottom of the 8th inning. the score was 7-1 San Diego Padres. at no point did I see a “shohei ohtani due up next” graphic - so I left the room, only to find out mr. ohtani struck out against Scott. is there a reason for this? please respond thank you.
Wore this all day today. Handful of passerbys in hushed tones “Ooh! Kim Ha-Seong”/“Padres…”
But then…there was the Kiwoom Heroes fan in my hotel elevator…
To say I’m overwhelmed by the kind words and brick walls that have been run through in response to my video…would be an understatement.
Thank you all so much 🤎💛
I’m working on getting the YouTube link & Spotify playlist added to the vid’s thread ASAP.
On the real
@VictorCaratini
, you gifted me my favorite moment at Petco Park.
Earlier that day, our family dog had passed - and to celebrate with my family was so emotional & magical to experience that with “a sea of San Diegans.”
So thank you, Vic.
Re-downloaded Twitter to let yall know that
@JURICKSONPROFAR
IS A BAD MAN 😤 The way he went *straight* to the visitors dugout to let the Nats know. Sheeeeeeeeesh.
Thank you, Joe.
It was a pleasure watching a fellow San Diegan hold it down this year and, oh yeah, throw the team’s first no hitter in club history.
Bigger things are on the horizon & I can’t wait to see what else you accomplish in a Padres uni.
Much love
@itsFatherJoe44
🤙🏼
In the 2022 edition of the San Diego Padres, Jorge Alfaro is the thing I didn’t know I needed — but couldn’t imagine not having so far.
“Let’s fucking go San Diego” indeed, Oso. What a stud.
I started making Padres hype vids in ‘19 because the excitement from the fanbase wasn’t being adequately mirrored through the team’s video production.
I’m so happy that’s changed. I’ve really noticed a dynamic change in the last year or so.
Amazing work
@Padres
. Thank you 💛
When the Padres have officially been eliminated from playoff contention but you’re free of the hellscape that has been the 2nd half of the 2021 season.
We know what we have in Manny Machado.
Baltimore knew what they had with Manny Machado.
Hialeah, FL and his family/friends *know* this man.
Anyone accusing this man clearly hasn’t put the time or work in to understand him.
