it’s clear that hoshi is cupid in this MV. he’s holding a glowing yellow orb, which represents apollo (jun) and is staring at a heart. this is the moment in the myth where cupid shoots the arrows at apollo and daphne, which curses apollo to obsess over daphne

finally, this scene portrays dino as pythios, who is known as apollo’s biggest enemy (apollo killed him when he was like four days old). the significance of minghao “slithering” into pythios’ cave is him becoming one of apollo’s past sins/conflicts, or things he regrets
