- if you’re looking for a place to stay in Nadi , highly recommend “Vunivatuvula” airbnb . You can book the whole house that hosts upto 11 ppl or book per room if there is only 2 of you. Located in Naisoso, Nadi 💗
Our view flying into Melbourne lastnight. This view probably lasted for a good 10mins before it was covered with smoke . It really hit me lastnight after seeing this 😓
Just watched Lily Javas interview on Breakfast at Fiji One. I can just tell by the way she can’t even maintain constant eye contact & keeps looking up while answering questions that she’s a fraud 😂
A NZ citizen coming back home knowing that the Govt will put you in a 5 star hotel with 3 square meals a day (FOR FREE) and still have the audacity to go to the supermarket to take selfies - only to find out the next day that they tested positive for COVID-19..
A very emotional period for most Fijians that have been away from Fiji for 16 years! Now they can come back home and see their loved ones! Some have lost more than others 🇫🇯🇫🇯😭😭! No more detention in camps and no more being blacklisted in Fiji!!
Bruh, my first experience of being treated differently ( as a local) at our hotel while lining up for the breakfast buffet. Told to wait in line , but when a palagi family rocks up they got a table immediately..lol
If you think Fijians drink strong kava , you wait till you drink with people from Vanuatu .One cup only and you’ll start seeing all your ancestors from 100yrs ago...😂😂😂😂
Ratu Asesela Robanakadavu : The Fijian Eskimo
Ratu Asesela was from Nakoronawa Village in the district of Nakasaleka, Kadavu. In the late 1800's Ratu Asesela decided to leave Fiji to travel the world and ended up in Northwest Territory of Canada. Locals knew him as Jim Fiji
Holy crap! I was heading to the bank today & walked past a homeless guy who called out my name. It turned out to be a guy a went to High School with..I went in got $50 out and handed it to him. Then we both burst into tears😭💕
Personally, I feel like in a setting where we all come together to celebrate indigenous Pacific Islanders - we need to be representing our traditional Fijian dances (Authentically) . Contemporary dances are beautiful but this is just wrong setting / context.
Shopping as a Pacific Islander in NZ means getting used to retail staff hanging around you while you browse cz they assume you’re more likely to shoplift 🥲
I remember in primary school when the teacher used to say “Only empty vessels make a lot of noise” ... I never thought it would make more sense as an adult lol
Missed the game this morning but woke up at 5am to cars honking their horns and people screaming “FIJI” in cars driving past the house. It feels good to be home 😂💕 🇫🇯

Honestly, now days I’m very selective with voicing my opinions on with anything to do with Fiji lol ..but sometimes it’s okay to have an open discussion with differing opinions without trying to bite each other’s heads off.
if anyone messages you on IG with “Hey I need your help, can you click on this link so I can _____”
DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINK…
These Bitcoin scammers are relentless.
Been stood down from being a international flight attendant (could last for the next 2-3yrs) and gone back to Uni to get that degree that I’ve been putting off for so long.😌💛
sis , maybe you should try being a fijian girl growing up in a society who thinks your hair doesn't meet the "standards of beauty" . Sit yo ass down and mind yo business . Thank you , NEXT ...
Why are Fijian Girls so obsessed with straightening their Hair before special events
No Shade but if you were trying to look Slim ! That hair with that complexion makes you look Fat 😂
Stay Natural
But Who am I to tell a girl what she can and cannot do to her body
ThankUNext
We know our culture and we don’t need to perform our TRADITIONAL war dance on a rugby pitch to prove anything to ignorant ppl like you. A lot of Kiwis are always proud to see the Haka but don’t bother to learn anything else abt the Maori culture...🐸☕️
Oso, us gang from Kadavu always getting jokes about belonging to China and just shake it off. Tease the lauans about repping Tonga and all hell breaks loose 😂😂😂🤣🤣
“Freebies” that are given out by govt to the public are not free. Don’t forget that this is funded by tax payer $ (directly or indirectly) ... Nothing is free…
Just a reminder that all the benefits your parents never had growing up were given to you by the FFP Government. All that assistance you were provided with. The fact that your parents didn't have to pay school fees. The right to be called a Fijian.
I remember my 1st day in form 3 at ACS, I was so nervous cause I didn’t know anyone at that school. And I remember these two decorating their desks & Val comes up to me to introduce herself. 15 years later and I couldn’t imagine life without these two 💜
Working at a cafe is wild. You can be on your lunch break minding your business and there’s a couple sitting next to you that are going through a break up....
I will never forget the first time I walked into Sephora and one of the make up artists goes “you have amazing skin, what’s your skin care routine ?”
Me : “ uh , soap & water?” 🤷🏽♀️😂😂
