Today, I had few hours to spare & looked at the chart shared by @rudrabhojGHQ Because the data seemed off & lacked sources so I dug up sources & did reverse calculations to create same graph. The graph is a nightmare for anyone with basic sense of Math, let alone economics (1/n)

Actually, there is no such thing as Advaita. Vedic scholars themselves hv called out Shankara for copying Buddhism. Rāmānuja (1077 AD) called him a “Crypto-Buddhist (pracchanna-bauddha)” in his Śrībhāṣya. Bhāskara (750-800AD) said, his notion of māyā was derived from Buddhism.

Buddhism is older than the earliest form of Sankhya. The earliest surviving authoritative text on classical Samkhya, Samkhya Karika is dated around (200 CE-450 CE). Samkhya philosophy as known today, came almost 700 years after the Buddha.

In Bairat (Jaipur) was found one of the earliest & prominent circular Buddhist shrine with monastic cells, built during Ashoka's time (3rd century BCE). A rock edict of Ashoka was also found here, one of its kind, describing Buddhist scriptures recommended by Ashoka for study.
