Imagine waking up from a three year coma to learn Antonio Brown and Mike Mayock got into a fight during Jon Gruden’s practice session and Vontaze Burfict was the voice of reason
Dennis Allen said they asked him if Jamaal Williams could get a TD. He said no, he wanted to take a knee. He said the players ran that play anyway. He said Arthur Smith was right to be upset.
Saints were fined $700K and lost a draft pick because Sean Payton didn’t keep his mask up for two games and Kamara not wearing a tracking bracelet in the facility.
Packers fined $300,000 for COVID violations of the NFL and NFL Players Association protocols, while Aaron Rodgers and Allen Lazard each fined $14,650, per

Sean Payton didn't apologize to Mike Smith when he dialed up a Texas route for Darren Sproles on Dec. 26 back in 2011 to help Drew Brees break the single-season passing yardage record, going up 45-16 in the process. Dennis Allen is Charmin soft.
Hate to blame the refs but they threw Lattimore out after he was attacked unprovoked and now they've given Tampa Bay two first downs on bogus penalties.
which teams sacked tom brady most often?
dolphins - 66 sacks in 36 games
bills - 64 sacks in 36 games
jets - 56 sacks in 37 games
saints - 28 sacks in 9 games

Matt Corral barely able to limp off the field right now but at least Kirk Herbstreit doesn’t have to question how much he loves playing football. Don’t want to hear shit about opt outs from him or anyone else

rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore scored more touchdowns than the three wide receivers picked ahead of him combined (Corey Davis, John Ross, Mike Williams).

the thing people forget about the minnesota miracle game is the saints went into halftime down 17-0. then drew brees completed 12 of his first 13 passes, going 17/22 with 3 TD's in the second half. all-time great playoff game of his erased by a defensive goof. story of his career

Saints have completely wasted Alvin Kamara in this post-Drew Brees era. Runs for 2 and 3 yards and then asking him to pick up a blitz on the first third down of the game. It's almost impressive that they can't figure out how to use him.
the saints beat the reigning super bowl champions by a touchdown without either of their top two quarterbacks, their best receiver, their pro bowl kicker or their pro bowl guard.
I'm old enough to remember Sean Payton telling Reggie Bush's agent to fck off when he didn't want to get drafted by New Orleans. Now we're shutting the office down for 4 days so this dude can think about who he's handing roses to
There’s a lot to like about the Saints WR corps in 2023:
Michael Thomas is COMMITTED
Chris Olave is ASCENDING
Rashid Shaheed is DYNAMIC
Bryan Edwards is PHYSICAL
A.T. Perry is CONFIDENT
Tre’Quan Smith
James Washington is TOUGH
Shaquan Davis is ELECTRIC
Malik Flowers is FAST
Derek Carr is the quarterback Dennis Allen wanted. Pete Carmichael and Doug Marrone were the coaches he was most comfortable pinning his career on. He was given the NFL's easiest schedule and he's lucky to be 3-3. This is who he is and this is what his team is.
welcome to saints training camp. QB1 retired, WR1 is hurt, WR3 is probably suspended, TE1 and TE2 are gone, DT1 is suspended, DT2 and DT3 are gone, CB1 might get suspended, CB2 is gone, and we don’t have a kicker. but we do have two punters
Trevor Siemian threw more touchdown passes in 6 games (4 starts) than Derek Carr has thrown in 11 starts. His wide receivers were Marquez Callaway, Tre'Quan Smith, Kenny Stills, Deonte Harty, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Ty Montgomery, and Kevin White.
If the Saints are going to tank this year, it means wasting another year of players in the final leg of their career like Demario Davis, Cameron Jordan, Tyrann Mathieu. Wasting a prime year of Alvin Kamara, Marshon Lattimore, etc. Barf
Dennis Allen would make a lot of sense as Alabama's new head coach. He's familiar with the program after hiring multiple assistant coaches from the Tide in recent years and he understands the expectations that come with playing SEC football as a Texas A&M alum.
There's five games left on the schedule and he's eligible to play in two of them. If he wants out all he has to do is wait. IMO he's seeing the culture he and Kamara and Brees built being eroded by mismanagement and is clearly frustrated by that.
In my opinion Michael Thomas intentionally did what he did on X (Twitter) because he wants out. I never seen an active player do what he did without intentions. It’s looks like self sabotage.
#Saints
There are no excuses for Dennis Allen and this team. The Saints gave him everything he wanted. His QB. His assistant coaches. Draft picks spent on his players. There have to be consequences for this poor of a performance
chiefs have been flagged for offensive holding 20 times in their first 13 games. second most holding penalties in the NFL. i'm sure they just cleaned it up today though
Dennis Allen? needs to go
Pete Carmichael? needs to go
Andy Dalton? needs to go
Jameis Winston? needs to go
Mickey Loomis? probably needs to go
Saints need a fresh start after trying to be the Great Value version of a Sean Payton team. We're seeing the limits of nostalgia
Final tally from DeAndre Hopkins vs. Marshon Lattimore, per PFF charting:
4 targets
2 receptions for 24 yards
1 first down
1 interception
1 pass deflection
Lattimore takes this round.
Dennis Allen on the defense: “We’ve got to get back to playing with the intensity and swagger we’ve played with for the last four or five years.”

Loomis can spin it as an economic issue but the Saints have won 8 games inside the Superdome since Drew Brees retired. This is a direct reflection of that.
Nearly 1/3 of the seats in the Superdome is still for sale on SeatGeek right now.
You think Mickey Loomis and the Saints executives might finally understand the message fans are trying to send them?
Or will they still just call them poor?
Patrick Mahomes was 0-for-6 on throws traveling 20+ yards downfield against the Saints yesterday. Marcus Williams might have played the game of his life
We should’ve expected this after the Saints caused dozens of infections and forced bye week cancellations and games to be moved to Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Oh wait that was the Ravens and Titans. Remind me how many draft picks they’ve had to forfeit?
The

are facing the biggest discipline yet after the NFL discovered more COVID protocol violations, including surveillance video of an interaction that may have contributed to RB Alvin Kamara’s positive test in December. From me and

:
Ryan Ramczyk entered the offseason with a $23M cap hit. The Saints restructured it down to $8.4M. Including him in a Deshaun Watson trade would see it go up to $37.7M, which the Saints would pay while he's in Houston. Unless I'm missing something he is not a tradeable contract
"the saints should trade marshon lattimore"
that costs them $13.4M
"well they should trade ramczyk"
that costs them $15.2M
"uh they should trade kamara"
that costs them $9M
"but I want them to trade michael thomas"
that costs them $22.7M
