One person died and another five were injured in yesterday’s church shooting in #California . “Dr. Cheng is a hero in this incident,” the Orange County Sheriff just said. Cheng died after he charged towards the shooter and attempted to disarm him.

Police are actively investigating a shooting here in Moore Park. They say there was a 300-person party here after the #ul football game. A fight broke out and four people were shot. Two died from their injuries. One has been treated and the other is in the hospital.

The #WashburnFire is growing in size slightly here at #Yosemite . The fire is now 25% contained. Ash is calling from the sky near the fire and you can hear charred trees falling every few minutes in the distance.

#DerekChauvin has plead guilty to violating #GeorgeFloyd 's civil rights. Included in the information of this charge, Chauvin also admitted to violating the rights of another juvenile which was going to be tried separately. The two cases were combined.

Correction- Chief Dale Kelly from the Portage County Sheriff's department says that no one has been taken into custody at this time. The shooter has left the area and is still at large. There was one male shooting victim and he was taken to an area hospital. #Kent #Shooting

I just spoke with fire officials in the area who tell me South Lake #Tahoe is now under mandatory evacuation orders. They say it’s possible for the fire to move into the city at any point. The Caldor Fire is at roughly 180,000 acres and continues to grow.
