This is Delacroixs painting "Femmes d'Alger dans leur appartement" (1834). It is an eptimum of the orientalist gaze. No names. They're clouded in anonymity. Only to be found in the margines of his notes. Delacroix invaded their spaces to make them into footnotes of his painting.
