Update on Maddy: she woke up this morning without a fever for the first time since Friday. They started an IV infusion, steroids and blood thinners last night. She’s due for more blood work and an echo this morning. Thank you everyone for all your good vibes and kind words.

Could use some good vibes our way. Our 11 year old daughter has been super sick. Her blood work came back alarming and she’s being sent to the #2 children’s hospital in the entire state, for more tests and evaluation. This is a parents worse nightmare. This is the doctors worry.

I miss my little girl so much. He blood work numbers are very slowly but surely declining in the right direction but it’ll still be at least until Saturday or Sunday until she’s released. I’m so damn proud of how incredibly strong and brave she’s been.

My wife @BabyBlueDMB and I can’t thank everyone enough for their outpouring support and kind words for Maddy. She is slowly on the uprise. She was able to hold food down and walk to the bathroom unassisted today. Still a little ways to go, but things are looking a bit better.
