I normally lay low on social media debates. But the amount of hate in my feeds from men re: Caitlin Clark tipped me over the edge today. It is exhausting as women to see women torn down for being fierce, strong, competitive, outspoken, unapologetic competitors. We. Are. Tired.

This is going to come as a complete shock to your sales team. In fact you might wanna give them a minute once you break it to them: No one on social cares that you have a booth...at a trade show. No one.

My husband Pat has worked at Deere for 20+years. He’s 2nd generation Deere. Fiercely committed. Smart. But also close to burn out. Enter his new manager who encouraged a 4-day work week Y’all — it’s been LIFE CHANGING. For him. For me. For our family 4-day work weeks WORK

@AmandaMGoetz My husband started a rule that no electronics are allowed in his truck — so boys riding to and from sports practices have to put them away. We literally had one family stop using the carpool so their son could use his phone for the 10 minute drive 🫤 Enforce the rule!

When my dad unexpectedly passed away I took policy-approved time off. The 1st day back was gut-wrenching. My boss called me to his office. “What are you doing here? Go home. Heal. We’ll still be here when you’re ready.” It was such a gift. Leading with empathy matters.

One of my first jobs docked me 1 day of vaca for every min I was late. I was told my stepson “didn’t count” when I requested time to attend a school program. When I put my 2 wks in they told me not to bother—to go now. I’m grateful. Bad management made me a better manager.
